Jordan Matthews | Panthers TE

Jordan Matthews caught three passes for 61 yards in a 26-16 victory over the Broncos.

Matthews had some chunk plays against Denver’s defense, including a long reception of 28 yards. With the receivers combining for just six catches, J-Matt did well to catch half of them in the win. The 25-year-old will look for his first touchdown of the season as the Bills travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons in Week 4. He’s a decent FLEX option.

LeSean McCoy | Retired RB

LeSean McCoy struggles again in win over the Broncos.

After rushing 12 times for nine yards in last week’s loss, McCoy rushed 14 times for just 21 yards against Denver. He is now averaging just 2.9 yards per carry in 2017, though he did catch seven passes for 48 yards on Sunday. Still, he’s trending downward heading into next Sunday’s game against the Falcons, where he will be more of a low-end RB1.

9/25/17 - 10:39 AM ET

LeGarrette Blount | Retired RB

LeGarrette Blount runs through defenders in Week 3.

After receiving zero carries last week, the Eagles decided to give Blount a good amount of work against the Giants. He had 12 carries for 67 yards and a touchdown, as he ran very hard and broke a ton of tackles throughout the game. The touchdown came at the goal line, which is a role that will keep Blount in the FLEX conversation. Still, it’s difficult to trust Doug Pederson committing to the run game, which makes Blount a risky option in Week 4 against the Chargers.

9/25/17 - 10:38 AM ET

Mike Tolbert | Bills RB

Mike Tolbert rushed 11 times for 41 yards in Sunday’s win over the Broncos.

Tolbert actually led the team in rushing as LeSean McCoy struggled for the second-straight week. The former fullback doesn’t offer much as a pass catcher, though, and he should see less work in the coming weeks. He’s not a fantasy option heading into Buffalo’s matchup with the Falcons.

9/25/17 - 10:37 AM ET

Wendell Smallwood | Steelers RB

Wendell Smallwood leads Eagles in Week-3 rushing.

Smallwood carried 12 times for 71 yards against the Giants while adding a nine-yard reception. The Eagles finally committed to the running game, as they ran more times than they passed it and mixed in all their backs. In a committee, Smallwood is a risky FLEX option until he starts putting up consistent numbers.

9/25/17 - 10:36 AM ET

Tyrod Taylor | Jets QB

Tyrod Taylor efficient and effective in win over Denver.

Taylor was 20/26 for 213 yards, two touchdowns, and no turnovers as Buffalo defeated the Broncos 26-16. He also rushed eight times for 13 yards. Tyrod doesn’t have many weapons, but he continues to prove he’s one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the NFL. He could have streaming appeal heading into next Sunday’s matchup with Atlanta, as they will have to put up points if they’re going to get a big road win and improve to 3-1.

9/25/17 - 10:35 AM ET

Carson Wentz | Free Agent QB

Eagles improve to 2-1 on last-second field goal against the Giants.

Carson Wentz was 21/31 for 176 yard and one touchdown, along with six carries for 22 yards, in the Week 3 victory. The touchdown was to tight end Zach Ertz on a play right after Wentz fired a high pass that was a very difficult catch for Ertz. Wentz missed another deep ball, as Alshon Jeffery was open for a potential touchdown but the pass was not on target. At the end of the game, Wentz threw a 19-yard pass to the sideline on an out to Alshon Jeffery that left one second on the clock for the Eagles to attempt a 61-yard field goal, which rookie kicker Jake Elliott booted through the uprights for the win. Wentz and the Eagles head across to country to play the Chargers next Sunday.
