C.J. Anderson | Retired RB

C.J. Anderson disappoints in loss to the Bills.

Anderson rushed eight times for 36 yards and caught two passes for seven yards in the 26-16 loss. He was out-carried and out-gained by Jamaal Charles, and not including a 32-yard rush, had only four yards on seven carries. It was a surprising performance after last week’s dominant one against Dallas, and it’s not like the Broncos weren’t in the game the entire time on Sunday. Anderson looks like he’s back to low-end RB2 territory for Week 4, as the Broncos will host the Raiders.

Kamar Aiken | Free Agent WR

Kamar Aiken has been ruled out of game against the Browns.

Aiken suffered a concussion and is out for the game. Hopefully Aiken is able to clear protocol within a couple days and ends up being OK.

Sterling Shepard | Buccaneers WR

Sterling Shepard breaks long touchdown in loss to the Eagles.

The second-year receiver caught seven of ten targets for a team-high 133 yards and one touchdown. The touchdown came on a short post the Eli Manning put on the money before Shepard out ran the defense and took it all the way for a 77-yard score. If the passing offense of the Giants can keep the momentum from the end of this game going, Shepard could become a FLEX option, as the team has no running game.

Kelvin Benjamin | Free Agent TE

Kelvin Benjamin is officially questionable to return against the Saints.

It’s officially being classified as a knee injury. Hopefully Benjamin is able to return, but we’ll let you know when he either returns to the game or is ruled out.

Jamaal Charles | Retired RB

Jamaal Charles rushed nine times for 56 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s loss to the Bills.

Despite a huge game from C.J. Anderson last week, Charles actually led the team in carries (Anderson had eight) and scored the only touchdown on the day for Denver. The veteran back continues to impress, and is now averaging 5.1 yards per carry on the season. He deserves every-week FLEX consideration, including next Sunday against Oakland.

9/25/17 - 10:14 AM ET

Darren Sproles | Retired RB

Darren Sproles leaves game against the Giants with an apparent wrist injury

This didn’t look good off the first impression, but Sproles appears to be OK. Sproles took a toss against the Giants and was tackled, appearing to hold his knee. The veteran running back appeared to let out an expletive that could be heard through the television broadcast, which made it seem more serious as medical personnel attended to him. But when the broadcast returned, Sproles was shaking out his wrist and headed to the locker room. A wrist is a lot better than a knee, so hopefully this injury doesn’t keep Sproles out for too long.

9/24/17 - 01:45 PM ET

Shane Vereen | Retired RB

Shane Vereen catches both targets against the Eagles.

Vereen had two receptions for 18 yards while adding a five-yard carry. He’s just a PPR bench option for now.
