Join now >Robert Woods held to one catch in loss.
It went for eight yards. Woods had to contend with Josh Norman and an underrated Washington defense for much of the afternoon, but he’s still just the third receiver on a growing passing game. Woods would probably only become a reliable fantasy option if Sammy Watkins or Cooper Kupp went down. He gets the 49ers on Thursday night.

Josh Hill caught three passes for 29 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Patriots.
Hill is going to make some plays for New Orleans, but he isn’t a fantasy option behind Coby Fleener. The Saints travel to Carolina in Week 3.

Jason Witten breaks Cowboys all-time record for games played.
Witten played in his 225th career game for the franchise, and it was a good one statistically for Witten. In the loss to Denver, he had ten receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown. Dak and Witten seem to be in sync, as they’ve connected 17 times for 156 yards and two touchdowns through two games. Witten should be in lineups against the Cardinals next week, as people might as well ride this wave as long as the vet is performing like this.

Kenny Stills catches 29-yard score in season opener.
Stills was on the receiving end of a Jay Cutler strike, and the speedster finished with two catches for 37 yards in a 19-17 win. He is the clear third option in the passing game, but Stills could find a way to get deep against the Jets next week. Still, he’s not a recommended fantasy option.

Sammy Watkins caught two passes for 30 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Redskins.
Watkins long reception went for 28 yards and he was nearly able to break it for a touchdown. Through two games, he’s now hauled in all seven of his targets, so hopefully Jared Goff is gaining trust in him. Watkins is an elite talent and Sean McVay will probably try to scheme more ways to get him the ball starting this week against the 49ers. Sammy remains a high-upside WR2 in the TNF matchup.

Coby Fleener scores in Week 2 loss.
Fleener caught three passes for 33 yards, including a four-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. He now has eight catches and two scores through two games as he heads into a matchup with Carolina, whom he found the end zone against in both games a season ago. Fleener is a low-end TE1 option with the position looking really banged up.

Broncos absolutely shut down the Cowboys running game in Week 2.
Ezekiel Elliott had nine carries for eight yards, as the Broncos very clearly focused on not allowing the Cowboys to get anything going on the ground. He also couldn’t get anything going receiving, catching four passes but for only 14 yards. Zeke’s frustration was evident, as he stood there and didn’t run back on an interception and was shown sulking a bit on the bench. Elliott will have a much better game in Week 2 against the Cardinals, though Arizona might also try to take Zeke out of the game like Denver did.
