Join now >Dalvin Cook will not play in Week 17, according to ESPN’s Courtney Cronin.
Cronin says that Cook “had an unexpected family emergency come up on Tuesday and had to return to Miami.” Likely in part because of COVID-19 protocols, Cook will be out for the regular seasons finale this Sunday against the Lions. Cook’s year ends with 312 carries for 1,557 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns along with 44 receptions for 361 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown in 14 games. Set to turn just 26 this summer, Cook will obviously be an excellent first-round selection in 2021 fantasy drafts.

Washington signed Dontrelle Inman to the practice squad.
Inman is back after recently getting released by Washington. The veteran receiver is off the fantasy radar, but he provides depth for Washington in real life.

James Robinson (ankle) won’t play in Week 17.
The Jaguars are playing it safe with Robinson after an outstanding rookie year as an undrafted player. Robinson’s year ends with 240 carries for 1,070 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns along with 49 receptions for 344 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns in 14 games. The 1,414 total yards for Robinson set a new NFL record for undrafted rookies.

Cole Beasley (leg) is considered week-to-week.
This is according to Bills head coach Sean McDermott. So expect Beasley to be out for Week 17 against the Dolphins, but hopefully he’s able to return for the first round of the postseason in just under two weeks. The best regular season of Beasley’s career ends with 82 receptions for 967 yards and four touchdowns.

The Buccaneers activated Ronald Jones II from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Jones missed two games while on the COVID list, and it’s good to hear he is doing OK and can rejoin his teammates. The third-year running back will resume lead back duties for a Tampa Bay squad headed to the postseason. Jones is 100 yards away from his first 1,000-yard rushing season, so we’ll see if he can hit that mark in Week 17.

The Browns placed Harrison Bryant on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Cleveland is having a bit of a COVID issue, but hopefully this is just a close contact situation and Bryant can get cleared soon.
12/29/20 - 04:50 PM ET
Cooper Kupp has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
This happening on a Tuesday should give Kupp time to be cleared by Sunday, but if not, it’d obviously be another big loss for the Los Angeles offense. Second-round pick Van Jefferson would step into a significant role against Arizona if Kupp isn’t able to play.
