The Jaguars only threw 21 times, but Lee was not a target on any of them. It’s likely just a one-time thing, especially with Lee set to be the number one receiver for Jacksonville after Allen Robinson’s unfortunate knee injury. Lee is one of the better waiver wire pickups this week.

Darren Sproles catches five passes in Eagles’ Week 1 win over the Redskins.
Sproles tied a team-high in targets with eight, gaining 43 yards on his five receptions. Sproles did also have two carries for two yards in the game. He’s a clear asset in PPR leagues, but there are probably better, more consistent options for your lineup in standard leagues.

Allen Hurns leads Jaguars in Week 1 receiving.
Hurns had three receptions (on four targets) for 42 yards against the Texans. After Allen Robinson’s knee injury, Hurns could be back as a top-two option for the Jaguars. There are probably better options on the waiver wire this week, but he’s worth a look.

Curtis Samuel practiced fully today.
The rookie receiver injured his ankle in the final preseason game, but he’s ready for the season opener. Samuel will be a big weapon for Carolina’s offense, but he might not be a huge fantasy asset to start the year against the 49ers. It’s great to see he’s healthy after the injury, though.

Lamar Miller rushed 17 times for 65 yards in the Texans’ season opener.
Miller also caught two passes for 31 yards. It was a good performance considering how dominant the Jaguars were, and Miller was the clear lead back on Sunday. He faces the Bengals on a short week this Thursday and will likely be a low-end RB2.

Wendell Smallwood gets five Week 1 touches.
Smallwood had four carries for four yards and one reception for five yards against the Redskins. It appeared Smallwood didn’t get into the game until the second quarter, and LeGarrette Blount (14 carries) worked as the clear lead runner for the Eagles. The second-year back is just a waiver wire option or bench hold as of now.
9/11/17 - 08:23 AM ET
Deshaun Watson replaces Tom Savage in season opener.
Watson was 12/23 for 102 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the 29-7 loss. The rookie also lost a fumble and rushed twice for 16 yards. Jacksonville has an underrated defense with two elite corners and talent at all levels, so this was a tough task for both Watson and Tom Savage before him. Head coach Bill O’Brien hasn’t indicated who will start this Thursday night against the Texans, but it would be a surprise if it wasn’t Watson. If so, he’s worth a look in fantasy leagues due to his rushing ability. Houston needs to fix the offensive line.
