Blake Bortles | Retired QB

Blake Bortles avoids mistakes as Jaguars dominate in Week 1 against the Texans.

Bortles did exactly as the coaches would want from him, going 11/21 for 125 yards and a touchdown as the team rode 39 carries and a strong defense to a Week 1 victory. The TD was a one-yarded to fullback Tommy Bohanon. The bad news is Bortles lost Allen Robinson to a knee injury, and it looks like he is going to miss the season. Bortles likely won’t be a fantasy option this year without Robinson and without a lot of passing volume.

Nick Foles | Free Agent QB

Nick Foles was a full participant in practice.

Foles battled an elbow issue that kept him out the entire preseason, but he’s apparently back to 100% with this full Wednesday practice. He’ll be Carson Wentz’s backup this season while giving Wentz a veteran presence to lean on as someone that’s been the starter in Philadelphia.

9/6/17 - 03:50 PM ET

Eric Ebron | Free Agent TE

Eric Ebron has quiet season opener.

Ebron caught two passes for nine yards, but it was a game he was projected to struggle in with the Cardinals being stingy against opposing tight ends. He’ll have an easier time next week against the Giants, but Ebron looks like the fifth option in the passing game behind Golden Tate, Marvin Jones, Kenny Golladay, and Theo Riddick.

9/11/17 - 01:09 PM ET

Terrance Williams | Cowboys WR

Terrance Williams returns to Week 1 game against the Giants.

He’s back after a nasty turn of his ankle on the Cowboy’s first drive of the game. Williams might have more of an issue with swelling at halftime or after the game.

9/10/17 - 09:03 PM ET

T.J. Jones | Free Agent WR

T.J. Jones caught two passes for 32 yards in the Lions’ season opener.

Jones split time with rookie Kenny Golladay behind Golden Tate and Marvin Jones, but Golladay’s two-touchdown performance probably locks the rookie into three-WR sets. T.J. Jones can stay on the waiver wire. Detroit plays the Giants next.

9/11/17 - 01:07 PM ET

Travis Kelce | Chiefs TE

Travis Kelce is not listed on the Week 1 injury report.

After two straight limited practices, Kelce was listed as a full participant today. Despite facing a Patriots team that might try and take him away, Kelce is a top-five TE option in fantasy lineups this week.

9/6/17 - 02:40 PM ET

Eric Decker | Retired WR

Eric Decker doesn’t do much in Week 1.

Decker was targeted eight times by Marcus Mariota, but they couldn’t get a connection going. He had three receptions for ten yards against the Raiders. Decker appeared to maybe be interfered with on one play, but it didn’t draw a penalty, and he looked to have slipped on another target. He should have a better game against the Jaguars this Thursday, but he might be behind Rishard Matthews, Corey Davis, and Delanie Walker for targets. It’s probably best to keep him out of your lineup for now, but he’s definitely worth a roster spot.
