Join now >Giovani Bernard gets eight touches in Week 1.
Bernard was the most effective of the Bengals running backs against Baltimore. He carried seven times for 40 yards and added a 39-yard reception. With rookie Joe Mixon added to the mix, Bernard became a bit of a forgotten guy in Cincinnati’s backfield. He’ll have some good weeks this season, but there are probably better options for your fantasy lineup.

Harold Henderson’s ruling on Ezekiel Elliott’s suspension will come today.
According to Tom Pelissero, the NFLPA filed today a response to the NFL’s response to the NFLPA’s initial filing and in that response, the it states Harold Henderson told both sides there will be a decision today. It’s already past 1:00 PM ET, so a decision could come at any moment now, but it might not be until closer to 4:00-5:00 PM ET. If Henderson wipes out Elliott’s suspension, this entire saga will end. If not, Elliott and the NFLPA will proceed in court, which could lead to Elliott being eligible to play anyway if he’s granted a temporary restraining order to push back the suspension until it’s settled in court.

Corey Coleman scores in season opener.
Coleman led the Browns in catches (five), yards (53), and was their lone receiving touchdown on the day. It was a good start for the breakout candidate, especially since his score came on a three-yard slant near the goal line. Coleman beat the Ravens for 104 yards and two touchdowns in Week 2 of 2016, and he gets them next.

John Ross (knee) is inactive for Week 1 against the Ravens.
The rookie receiver wasn’t expected to go, but he reportedly attempted to give it a shot in warmups. The Bengals have a quick turnaround on Thursday night against the Texans, so there’s a chance Ross isn’t ready for Week 2 either.

Ravens defense shuts down the Bengals in Week 1.
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton didn’t play well, going 16/31 for 170 yards with four interceptions and a lost fumble. Baltimore’s defense did not make it easy on Dalton and the Bengals, as they sacked him five times; but this was still probably Dalton’s worst NFL game. Dalton and the Bengals are probably happy they have a quick turnaround to forget about this one, as they play the Texans on Thursday night. Dalton isn’t a recommended fantasy option in that game.

The Cowboys are re-signing Kellen Moore.
Moore was released over the weekend, but the team wanted to bring him back as a number three behind Dak Prescott and rookie Cooper Rush. He’ll be a veteran presence for Dallas, and his return also means there is still an active lefty quarterback in the NFL.
9/5/17 - 01:11 PM ET
Matt Dayes rushed three times for seven yards in his NFL debut.
He also caught two passes for nine yards. Dayes was the only running back other than Isaiah Crowell to receive a carry, so he’s definitely a name to watch on a team with a strong offensive line. The Browns travel to Baltimore next Sunday.
