Join now >Antonio Brown is unstoppable in Week 1 victory.
Brown caught all 11 of his targets for 182 yards, with the highlight being a jump ball over three defenders. The chemistry between AB and Big Ben remains as good as anyone’s. He will have a tough matchup with the Vikings next Sunday, but Brown obviously needs to be in lineups as an elite WR1.

The Patriots re-signed running back Brandon Bolden.
New England cut Bolden to get the roster down to 53, but they wanted to bring him back all along. Because no one claimed Bolden, the team was able to re-sign him while putting linebacker Shea McClellin on Injured Reserve. Bolden likely won’t have fantasy value in 2017, but he’ll be a contributor to the Patriots in real life; he’s a great teammate and team player that will look to contribute to another Super Bowl run.

Joe Flacco (back) returns as the Ravens shutout the Bengals in Week 1.
Flacco returned after missing the entire preseason and threw only 17 passes in Week 1, as the Ravens rode strong defense and ran the ball 42 times against Cincinnati. Flacco was 9/17 for 121 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the game. The TD was a 48-yarder on a catch-and-run slant pass to Jeremy Maclin, who went untouched and easily jogged to the end zone. Baltimore has a stifling defense, so the Ravens might scale back the passing attack this season as they commit more to the running game—as they said they want to do. The team did lose Danny Woodhead to a hamstring injury that looks like will keep him out for a while, so that hurts the passing attack for Baltimore. Still, Flacco will have some big weeks this season, though he’s more of a QB2 right now.

Mike Williams (back) is out for Week 1.
This was the expectation, but the Chargers made it official when releasing their official injury report for Monday Night Football against the Broncos. The rookie receiver will reportedly be out until October, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him on the field sometime this month. The fact that he wasn’t ruled out until now should be seen as a positive sign.

James Conner makes regular season NFL debut.
The rookie rushed four times for 11 yards and didn’t catch a pass, but the good news is that he was the only running back besides Le’Veon Bell to record a touch. That said, it would likely be a committee approach if Bell misses any games in 2017.

Multiple reports: The Rams claimed QB Brandon Allen off waivers.
Allen was waived by the Jaguars yesterday after the team made some waiver claims from the initial cuts. Jacksonville likely wanted Allen on their practice squad, but the Rams decided to pick him up. The second-year quarterback can certainly throw the ball, and he showed flashes in the preseason. Had Allen remained in Jacksonville, he might’ve made starts this season; instead, he’ll be behind Jared Goff and Sean Mannion in LA.

Le’Veon Bell sees just 13 touches in 2017 debut.
After sitting out training camp and the preseason, Bell was not fed like many expected in the first game of the season. He rushed 10 times for 32 yards and caught three passes for 15 yards. The superstar back should see an increase of work next week against the Vikings. He’s probably the clear-cut top option at RB with David Johnson (wrist) out an indefinite period of time.
