Join now >Chester Rogers (hamstring) is out for Week 1 against the Rams.
Rogers didn’t practice all week and Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said he’s out. Kamar Aiken will be the number three receiver behind T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief. Rogers will try to get healthy for Week 2.

The Bills waived WR Corey Brown.
Brown was just signed by the Panthers this offseason, so this is a slight surprise. The 2014 undrafted receiver out of Ohio State won’t have trouble finding another team to sign with.

Chris Hogan catches only one pass in opening game of the season.
Hogan was targeted five times by Tom Brady, including a few times deep, but he only had one reception for eight yards. The Patriots did get the ball in Hogan’s hands on some reverses, and the had three carries for 17 yards. Marcus Peters was on Hogan for much of the night, so he’ll have a better matchup next Sunday against the Saints.

Charcandrick West scores on only carry in Week 1.
Rookie Kareem Hunt worked as the clear lead back as he totaled nearly 250 yards and three touchdowns. West had one reception for four yards and had one carry in the fourth quarter that he took for a 21-yard touchdown, basically sealing the game for the Chiefs. If Hunt remains healthy West won’t be a good fantasy option, but he is a good handcuff.

Tevin Coleman gets 12 touches in Week 1.
The explosive third-year back had eight carries for only 16 yards against a tough Bears front seven, but he did add four receptions for 42 yards in the game. Atlanta said they wanted to get Coleman more involved as a receiver after his 13.6 yards per reception for a running back in 2016 was the most in a season by a running back in the last 15 years, and he’ll remain involved moving forward. He gets the Packers next Sunday night.

The Ravens have signed Alex Collins to their practice squad.
Collins opted to sign with Baltimore over the Jets, and we would assume he eventually gets put onto the 53-man roster. Baltimore is thin at running back, so Collins is a name to keep close tabs on throughout the season.

Zay Jones catches one-of-four targets in first game.
The rookie receiver from ECU had a 21-yard reception in the game. He’ll have better games moving forward as one of the top two receivers in Buffalo, and he’s worth a roster spot in both standard and PPR leagues.
