Vikings get shut out out in first half of third preseason game.

Minnesota struggled to get anything going against the 49ers, and a lot of it came down to the offensive line. They struggled to block the Niners and allowed pressure on quarterback Sam Bradford while also struggling to run block. Bradford was 17/21 for 134 yards while taking three sacks in the game. Despite the upgrades on the offensive line, things have looked more of the same as last season for much of this preseason. The Vikings aren’t going to be where they want to be if the offensive line doesn’t play well this season, and Bradford’s fantasy upside is limited if he’s getting pressured on every play.

Sammie Coates catches one-of-four targets in Steelers’ third preseason game.

He had one yard on his one reception. In a battle for a roster spot, the talented receiver will almost certainly be playing in the Steelers’ final preseason game, which could be a very important one for him.

Terron Ward gets 14 touches in Falcons’ third preseason game.

Ward had ten carries for 28 yards and four carries for 24 yards. He’ll be the number three behind Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman this season, but he’ll likely get some action in the team’s final preseason game on Thursday.

Raheem Mostert goes off for two TDs in 49ers’ third preseason game.

Mostert had four carries for 26 yards and a rushing touchdown while adding two receptions for 104 yards and an 87-yard touchdown through the air. The long receiving touchdown came on a screen pass where Mostert followed his blockers well and basically walked in for the last 50 yards. He definitely made a solid case to make the final roster for the 49ers, and he’ll have Thursday’s final preseason game to make his final case.

Jaron Brown draws four targets in Cardinals’ preseason game.

Brown had two receptions for nine yards in the game. He was the Cardinals’ number two receiver, but teammate John Brown exploded for two long touchdowns in his return from a quad injury and might have taken that role back. Still, Jaron Brown is a reliable receiver for Carson Palmer and will have a role this season.

Jack Doyle catches one pass for nine yards in the Colts’ third preseason game.

Doyle had three targets in the game and his preseason could be over unless the Colts opt to play their starter some in the fourth preseason game. Doyle’s early-season upside could be limited if Andrew Luck (shoulder) ends up missing any regular season games.

Taylor Gabriel makes 2017 preseason debut.

Gabriel missed Atlanta’s first two preseason games with a lower leg injury, but he and Julio Jones were back out there for the team’s third preseason game. He didn’t catch his only target, but it’s good to see him back out there. Gabriel is going at the very end of fantasy drafts and could be a fine bye week fill-in this season while delivering FLEX value some weeks.
