Robert Woods catches both targets in Week 3 of the preseason.

Woods had two receptions for 23 yards in the exhibition against the Chargers. He’s locked in as a top three receiver for the Rams, but will likely only be a fantasy option in deeper leagues.

Sammy Watkins doesn’t catch a pass in Rams’ third preseason game.

The Rams’ new receiver’s only target ended up as an interception, as the pass appeared to slip out of Jared Goff’s hand and sail. Watkins is probably done for the preseason, and he had two receptions for eight yards in two games with the Rams. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s a bit of a concern that Watkins and Goff couldn’t get much going yet, so Watkins should probably be dropped a little bit on fantasy draft boards.

Ty Montgomery scores in Green Bay’s third preseason game.

Montgomery got the goal-line carry in the first quarter and converted, which is a great sign for his fantasy outlook. He finished with three carries for 31 yards, including a 25-yard rush to start things off where he carried Denver defenders, and also caught a three-yard pass. Montgomery looks to be locked-in as the clear-cut starter for Green Bay’s explosive offense.

Malcolm Brown starts in Rams’ third preseason game.

With starter Todd Gurley sitting out, Brown got the start against the Chargers. He carried nine times for 44 yards and looked good, picking up positive yardage on his carries while also adding a 22-yard reception. Brown is locked in as the primary backup and handcuff to Todd Gurley, and would get a lot of work if Gurley were to miss any time this season.

Brett Hundley was 20/30 for 186 yards on Saturday night.

He also rushed five times for 14 yards and a touchdown. Hundley quickly came in for Aaron Rodgers (who threw five passes), so he got a chance to face Denver’s elite defense for an extended period of time. Green Bay has one of the better backups in the NFL, but they hope the preseason finale on Thursday night is the last they see of him in 2017.

Jared Goff struggles in Rams’ third preseason game.

Goff was 5/8 for 56 yards and an interception. The Rams drove down the field on their opening drive against the Chargers, but Joey Bosa strip sacked Goff deep in Chargers’ territory. On the next drive, Goff appeared to have the ball slip out of his hands as a pass intended for Sammy Watkins sailed on him and was intercepted. There were still things to like, and it’s clear new head coach Sean McVay is going to use Goff’s athleticism and move him outside the pocket more than the Rams did last season.

Aaron Rodgers makes brief appearance in Packers’ third preseason game.

Rodgers was 3/5 for 12 yards against the first-team defense of the Broncos before giving way to Brett Hundley. He overthrew Jordy Nelson on a would-be deep touchdown down the middle of the field, but we shouldn’t see that too often in the regular season. Rodgers should be done this preseason, and he has a great case to be the first quarterback off the board after Julian Edelman’s injury for Tom Brady and the Patriots.
