Paxton Lynch leaves Broncos’ preseason game with a shoulder injury.

Lynch, who entered the game after starter Trevor Siemian, is questionable to return to the exhibition against the Packers. Kyle Slater is now in the game for the Broncos. Lynch was 1/2 for nine yards and a 15-yard run before exiting.

Bilal Powell breaks long touchdown in Jets’ third preseason game.

Powell had 11 touches total in the exhibition against the Giants, carrying seven times for 32 yards and adding four receptions for 110 yards and an 85-yard touchdown. The touchdown came late in the third quarter on an angle route from Bryce Petty that Powell caught and was off to the races. Because Powell was playing late in the game than Forte, it looks like he’s currently the number two running back—but both Powell and Forte are expected to get a lot of work this season in a split backfield. Still, Powell is currently going much higher than Forte in fantasy drafts and might ultimately provide about the same fantasy output.

Matt Forte plays, gets 12 touches in Jets’ third preseason game.

It was Forte’s first time out there this preseason, and he got a good amount of work in the exhibition against the Giants. Forte carried ten times for 43 yards while adding two receptions for one yard through the air. Seeing the veteran back out there before the regular season was great, and he looks ready to go for Week 1. Forte will be splitting work with Bilal Powell, which will limit his upside, but he could definitely provide some good value at his ADP outside of the top 40 running backs.

Eli Manning goes 7/14 in Giants’ third preseason game.

The 36-year-old quarterback didn’t have his top two receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall against the Jets, but he threw for 121 yards with an interception. In a pass heavy offense with perhaps the best perimeter weapons he’s ever had, Manning should improve on his numbers from last season and has a chance to get back to the 30-touchdown mark in 2017. Manning and the Giants open the regular season against the Cowboys.

Julio Jones plays in the Falcons’ third preseason game.

The expectation was that Jones would be playing in the exhibition against Arizona, and he did. Jones was targeted once in the game, but that was it as he only played a few snaps. The all-time leader in receiving yards per game is arguably the top receiver in fantasy, especially with the talk of getting him the ball more in the red zone this year. Jones is a no-doubt first-round pick in all fantasy drafts.

Tevin Coleman gets four touches in Atlanta’s third preseason game.

With Devonta Freeman (concussion) out, Coleman started the game and had three carries for 19 yards, while adding a 14-yard reception. He’s going to be a big part of the Falcons offense this season along with Freeman. Coleman and the Falcons face Chicago in Week 1 of the season, and the third-year back should be a FLEX option (which is what he’s currently being drafted as).

Falcons first team struggles to get going in Week 3 of the preseason.

The Cardinals played some great defense, getting pressure on Matt Ryan and blanketing the Falcon receivers. Ryan was only 4/11 for 36 yards and an interception in the game. Things just never really looked in sync, and the starters weren’t left in the game long enough to get it going. This should not be a concern entering the year, as the Falcons were on fire offensively in their first two preseason games. Matty Ice is locked in as a QB1 entering this season as the league’s reigning regular season MVP.
