Join now >Keenan Allen shows he’s fully healthy in Week 2 preseason game.
While quarterback Philip Rivers didn’t play in the exhibition against the Saints, Allen played—which indicates he’s clearly 100%. Allen had one catch for nine yards and even came in motion and pass blocked on one play. He’s still wearing a knee brace, but that shouldn’t be an issue. Allen offers good value with his current 41 ADP as the number one receiver for Philip Rivers.

Hunter Henry catches lone target in exhibition against the Saints.
The Chargers second-year tight end caught a 14-yard pass in the Week 2 preseason game. It was a nice leaping catch by Henry on a corner route. Henry certainly has the ability to have a huge season, and it’ll come down to how much the Chargers use him in tandem with Antonio Gates.

Branden Oliver doesn’t get much going in Week 2 of the preseason.
Oliver had seven carries for only ten yards against the Saints. The team had barely two yards per carry in the game, so Oliver wasn’t the only on that didn’t do much. Oliver is currently the preferred handcuff to Melvin Gordon.

Melvin Gordon gets six touches in Week 2 preseason game.
Things didn’t start out great for the Chargers against the Saints, as Gordon’s first carry went for -9 yards. He did also break an 11-yard run, and had five carries for eight yards total. Gordon also added a seven-yard reception. As an extremely talented running back set for a heavy workload, Gordon needs to be selected in the first round of all fantasy drafts.

Willie Snead catches both targets in second preseason game.
The Saints receiver had 14 yards on his two receptions. Look for Snead and the offense (Drew Brees didn’t play tonight) to get more work in the third preseason game.

Michael Thomas catches 28-yard pass in Week 2 of the preseason.
It was Thomas’ only reception of the day but he didn’t play long, as Drew Brees didn’t play at all in the game. Thomas is one of the safer WR1 available in fantasy drafts and is a worthy second-round pick.

Alvin Kamara breaks 50-yard touchdown in Week 2 of the preseason.
The rookie running back from Tennessee scored on New Orleans’ first offensive play of the game, showing great vision and breaking through to the second level of the defense before shedding one tackle and going off to the races. Kamara ended the game with five carries for 61 yards and one reception for 22 yards. The Saints are pretty well off at the running back position with Adrian Peterson, Mark Ingram, and Kamara. In year one, Kamara will likely only be usable in PPR leagues, but it’s possible he delivers value in standard as well.
