The 29-year-old receiver had for receptions (on six targets) for 32 yards and a touchdown. The Cardinals are looking for players to step up in the receiving corps, so maybe Ross will be able to make a push there as he looks to make the team’s final roster.

C.J. Beathard was 7/12 for 110 yards and one touchdown in the 49ers’ preseason loss to Denver.
Beathard connected with tight end George Kittle on the score from 29 yards out. A third-round pick in April’s draft, Beathard was a guy San Francisco targeted due to his experience in a pro-style offense. Brian Hoyer is locked-in as the starter, but the rookie will likely be starting at some point in 2017.

Fitz gets one target in preseason game against the Bears.
He didn’t have any catches as the Cardinals played Fitzgerald and David Johnson only for a few snaps as they look to preserve them for the regular season. Fitz is by far Carson Palmer’s most reliable wide receiver, and he has an extremely high floor, especially in PPR leagues.

Jermaine Gresham catches touchdown in Week 2 preseason game.
Gresham had a one-yard touchdown on his only target of the game. He’s currently going undrafted in fantasy leagues.

Juwan Thompson rushed three times for 26 yards and one touchdown in Denver’s win over the 49ers.
Thompson scored on a 20-yard run in the fourth quarter. The Broncos have a bunch of running backs competing for roster spots, and this was a good performance by Thompson to stay in the conversation.

Jaron Brown catches one pass for eight yards in exhibition against the Bears.
The current number two receiver for the Cardinals had two targets in the game. He’ll probably open the season as the start opposite Larry Fitzgerald if someone doesn’t take the job from him, so he isn’t a bad pick at the very end of fantasy drafts.

Chad Williams catches only one pass in preseason game against Chicago.
The rookie receiver was targeted four times, catching only one of them for 15 yards. He probably won’t open the season higher than the fourth receiver on the depth chart and might not have much fantasy value in 2017. Though head coach Bruce Arians has been clear he wants people to step up in the receiver group, so Williams might be able to make a statement before the regulars season.
