Blaine Gabbert gets extensive playing time in Week 2 preseason game.

Gabbet was 14/25 for 174 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and one rushing touchdown against the Bears. Drew Stanton only threw six passes, but he’s almost certainly locked in as the backup to Carson Palmer. Bruce Arians and the Cardinals are likely going to give Gabbert a lot of playing time in the final two preseason games (particularly the fourth) to see what he’s got.

Carson Palmer throws TD in second straight preseason game.

Palmer was 9/14 for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Week 2 preseason matchup against the Bears. The veteran quarterback is throwing the ball well and making good decision so far this preseason and looks like a solid bounce back candidate after he struggled for much of last season.

Michael Crabtree catches 13-yard touchdown in preseason loss.

It was his lone reception, but it was a remarkable catch and run to leave a defender in the dust by changing direction and sprinting into the end zone. Crabtree might be overvalued as a low-end WR2, but he definitely has the trust of Derek Carr.

Kevin White doesn’t do much in Week 2 preseason game.

The third-year receiver had three targets, catching two of them (one for five yards, and one for -3 yards). It was a difficult matchup against the Cardinals defense, however. The good news is White looks to be locked in as a starter with Cameron Meredith and Kendall Wright. White is currently going at the very end of fantasy drafts.

Rookie tight end Shaheen catches one pass in Week 2 of the preseason.

Shaheen had nine yards on his lone target of the game. The second-round rookie tight end hasn’t made a huge impact yet, but he certainly has the potential. He’s a much better option in dynasty leagues than re-draft leagues as of now.

Cooper makes spectacular catch in Raiders’ preseason loss.

The emerging superstar caught three passes for 46 yards, with the highlight being a leaping grab over three defenders for 31 yards. Cooper is currently going in the third round of fantasy drafts, but he might be worth a pick at the end of the second.

Kendall Wright scores in exhibition game against the Cardinals.

Wright had two receptions for nine yards and a touchdown. The touchdown came on a four-yard out route from Mike Glennon. Wright is clearly the starting slot receiver for the Bears, and he could end up being a PPR asset this season.
