Brandon Oliver rushed three times for seven yards and caught a 14-yard screen pass in Sunday night’s preseason game.

Oliver looked good in the opener, particularly on the catch and run with the first-team offense. Melvin Gordon will be the workhorse for Los Angeles, but Oliver should have a role as a COP back for Anthony Lynn. He might be worth a look in PPR leagues.

Kenny Golladay caught one pass for six yards in Saturday night’s preseason game.

After scoring two touchdowns in his preseason NFL debut, Golladay had a quiet night against the Jets while Marvin Jones led the team in catches and yards, and also scored on an end zone fade. While Golladay has exciting potential, he is just a late-round flier in redraft leagues as of now.

Melvin Gordon rushed six times for 14 yards in Sunday night’s preseason opener.

Gordon was fed early with the first-team offense, and his tough running kept the Seattle defense honest, leading to an Antonio Gates touchdown. It’s pretty clear that LA will feed their star running back; Gordon is a solid RB1 for 2017, and is well worth a first-round pick in standard leagues.

Golden Tate catches two-of-three targets in preseason game against the Jets.

Tate had two receptions for 34 yards, catching a 16-yarder and an 18-yarder. On one catch, Tate took a big hit and held on; and one the other catch, Tate used nice footwork to keep his feet in bounds on a sideline throw. As Matthew Stafford’s most trusted target, Tate will again be a solid PPR asset in 2017.

Clemens up-and-down in preseason opener.

The 34-year-old threw a pick-six, another interception, and lost a fumble, but he did connect with Travis Benjamin on a 74-yard touchdown pass. Overall, Clemens was 4/10 for 100 yards, one touchdown, and the three turnovers. Battling with Cardale Jones for #2 duties behind Philip Rivers, neither player had a great game. The Chargers will play the Saints in Week 2 of the preseason.

Marvin Jones Jr. catches touchdown in Week 2 preseason game.

Jones caught four-of-five targets for 34 yards and a touchdown. On the touchdown, Jones ran a nice fade route and Matthew Stafford placed a perfect throw towards the back pylon. Despite the emergence of impressive rookie Kenny Golladay, Jones was a clear starter next to Golden Tate, which is a great sign for his fantasy value.

The second-year receiver, who spent last season on Seattle’s practice squad, had two receptions for seven yards and a touchdown. He’s looking to make the final roster this year.
