Grant had a 12-yard catch and also returned one punt for eight yards. The Dolphins receiver did leave the game with an Achilles issue, but it isn’t a serious injury and he should be fine. Grant will look to make an impact in Miami’s third preseason game this Thursday against the Eagles.

Andre Holmes caught two passes for 11 yards in Thursday night’s loss to the Eagles.
The Bills seem to have a pretty fluid wide receiver situation, but Holmes will be no better than the third wideout when Jordan Matthews (sternum) is back on the field.

Sean Mannion was 18/25 for 144 yards in Saturday night’s win over Dallas.
Mannion came into the game after Jared Goff threw four passes and the first-team scored a touchdown. The former third-round pick absolutely isn’t going to unseat Goff as the starter, even if Rams legend Eric Dickerson wants it to happen. Los Angeles will play the Raiders next Saturday.

Browns tight end David Njoku is back at practice.
Njoku was dealing with a back issue, but he’s back after missing some practices and the team’s first preseason game on Thursday. Look for Njoku to be good to go for the second preseason game, which isn’t until Monday the 21st against the Giants.

Jeremy Hill gets the start in Bengals preseason opener.
Hill rushed seven times for 26 yards, showing good burst early on, but he eventually slowed down, even checking himself out due to exhaustion in the first series and giving way to Joe Mixon, whom looked great. He is the starter and Mixon is listed as the fourth-string running back, but it would be a surprise if Mixon doesn’t climb at least a couple spots. Even if Hill keeps the “starting” job for the start of the regular season, he will likely be out-snapped and outplayed by the rookie.

The Dolphins waived/injured rookie receiver Isaiah Ford, according to Tom Pelissero.
Ford had knee surgery and has not been able to practice. The seventh-rounder will be placed on IR if he clears waivers. Ford was seen by many as a late-round steal after he was a big producer in college at Virginia Tech. Hopefully Ford gets healthy for 2018 and has a long career in the NFL.

Ryan Fitzpatrick throws another interception in second preseason game.
Fitzpatrick was 6/9 for 47 yards and the turnover, playing the entire second half in relief of the starters. If Ryan Griffin (shoulder) was healthy, Fitzpatrick would have a legitimate chance of losing his backup job. With Griffin out a few weeks, Fitz looks safe heading into the regular season behind Jameis Winston.
