Bell’s agent, Adisa Bakari, said that “all stories to the contrary are false” in regards to the two sides having an agreement. Because Bell is not budging on his $15 million annual salary desires and the Steelers aren’t happy that he isn’t in camp, this has been an ugly holdout that could affect future negotiations. Le’Veon is fully expected to be back before the regular season, but this could very well be his final year with Pittsburgh. He should still be a top-three fantasy pick in 2017.

Jarvis Landry catches one pass for -3 yards in Thursday exhibition against the Ravens.
The loan reception was on a bubble that didn’t go for any yardage. Landry has been a catch machine over his first three seasons, but we’ll have to see how much new quarterback Jay Cutler targets him, especially given the potential emergence of teammate DeVante Parker. We’ll see how much the fourth-year receiver is involved in the third preseason game versus Philadelphia.

Ravens quarterback Josh Woodrum makes case for a roster spot.
Woodrum, who was just brought in earlier during training camp, was 8/10 for 110 yards, along with three carries for 15 yards and two rushing touchdowns against the Dolphins in Week 2 of the preseason. The 2016 undrafted quarterback put up some big numbers at Liberty and spent time with a few teams in the last year. Look for the second-year quarterback to get a lot of playing time in the final two preseason games for the Ravens.

Brandon Reilly caught four passes for 39 yards and one touchdown in the Bills’ second preseason game.
Reilly made a sensational toe-tap catch in the back of the end zone that he was able to get at least three feet down in bounds on, and also made a couple other nice grabs against the Eagles. The undrafted rookie from Nebraska should at least stick around on someone’s practice squad this year.

Connor Cook completes under 50% of his passes in Week 1 of the preseason.
The second-year Raiders quarterback, who entered the game after E.J. Manuel, couldn’t get much going against the Cardinals. He was 10/21 for 82 yards and made actually made a really nice tackle when the Cardinals recovered a fumble. Cook has potential, and hopefully the Raiders give him a good amount of playing time this preseason.

E.J. Manuel starts first preseason game for the Raiders.
Derek Carr and the starters did not play for Oakland. Manuel was 10/12 for 107 yards, looking comfortable in the offense. He’s in the clear lead over second-year quarterback Connor Cook for the backup job behind Carr.

Harry Douglas catches all three targets in preseason game versus the Jets.
The veteran receiver had three receptions for 49 yards and looked quick. Tennessee added a lot of talent to their receiving corps this offseason, but Douglas should be able to remain on the final roster.
