Join now >Sammy Watkins is not on the PUP to start training camp.
The hope was Watson would be good to go for training camp, and he is. The team won’t force things with their star wideout, as he’ll have his reps limited at the start of camp. Healthy and entering a contract year, Watkins offers massive upside in 2017.

The Colts waived/injured tight end Mo Alie-Cox.
The 6’6″ former basketball player from VCU will go through waivers. If he goes unsigned, he will revert to the Colts’ Injured Reserve. It’s unclear what exact extent of Alie-Cox’s injury is, but he had on a boot on his lower leg the other day, according to Kevin Bowen of the team’s official site.

Bryant hopes to be fully reinstated soon, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
This shouldn’t be a surprise, but it could mean Bryant knows some good news could be coming soon. In the meantime, he will not be allowed to practice, but he is allowed to be around the team. Whenever Bryant is allowed back on the field, it should be as a starter opposite Antonio Brown. He carries tons of upside for this season and beyond.

Dolphins rookie receiver Isaiah Ford is believed to have a torn meniscus.
According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the initial examination of the knee showed meniscus damage, but they are getting a second opinion. If he does have meniscus damage, he’d need surgery and would likely be sent to IR. The seventh rounder of this year’s draft had a good shot at making the Dolphins’ roster. Hopefully the second opinion turns out to be good news for Ford and the team.

Redskins head coach Jay Gruden says Reed may has twisted an ankle overcompensating for his toe injury.
So not an ideal start to training camp for Reed, as Gruden also said his toe started bothering him two weeks ago. Reed is one of the best tight ends in the league—fantasy and otherwise—when he’s on the field, but he’s had an assortment of injuries throughout his career. It sounds like this shouldn’t impact his regular season status, but it’s a reminder that Reed carries some risk in fantasy drafts, and he might be the rare tight end you should handcuff in an explosive Washington offense. Reed is currently going as high as the third round for early drafters.

BJ Kissel of Chiefs.com writes Tyreek Hill “has developed the nuances in his game needed to be an effective top-flight receiver in the NFL.”
Kissel continues, “his ability to use his speed and quickness to set up defenders, while also using his body as an effective shield against defenders, are the finer details of what separates great athletes from great receivers.” Hill and quarterback Alex Smith are reportedly connecting on a lot of deep balls throughout training camp, but Kissel says identifying Hill as only a speed guy is selling him short. The second-year receiver, currently going outside the top 20 receivers, is a solid target at his ADP.

Steelers GM Kevin Colbert says Martavis Bryant is still not fully reinstated.
Colbert said in a statement (which you can read in the link below) that until he is fully reinstated, Martavis “will not be permitted to practice or play in any games.” Bryant will be able to take part in off-field team activities, but he’s losing valuable practice time during training camp. We would think Bryant is reinstated in time for the regular season, but his status is something to keep an eye on. He should be a high-upside fantasy option in the middle rounds if he’s ready to roll in the regular season.
