Join now >Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site believes Rishard Matthews will be starting at receiver this season.
Wyatt "expects" Matthews to start, with fifth overall pick Corey Davis and veteran free agent addition Eric Decker also playing a lot. Wyatt also warns "don't sleep" on third round pick Taywan Taylor, "who looked great during the offseason." Matthews stepped up big-time last season for Marcus Mariota, catching 65 passes for 945 yards and nine touchdowns—he's almost certain to start in three receiver sets, at least. Second-year receiver Tajae Sharpe is also in the mix, and they all are likely to get some playing time. Right now, Corey Davis might offer the highest upside of the group, but Matthews and Decker could both be very good fantasy options in 2017.

Free agent running back Christine Michael visited the Patriots, according to Field Yates.
The Patriots are stacked at running back, but gave Michael a visit. It's probably unlikely he's signed by New England unless an injury occurs to one of their current running backs. Michael is a very talented player, and he should get signed by someone at some point.

Michael Floyd has been suspended four games by the NFL, according to Field Yates.
The NFL is handing down the penalties today. Floyd's suspension stems from his extreme DUI last year. He was facing a suspension, but four games is longer than most anticipated, and it's likely his failed alcohol test (from kombucha tea, he claims) contributed to the four games. If Floyd performs well in the preseason and training camp, he should be able to stick around on the roster despite missing four games. However, head coach Mike Zimmer recently said if he finds out Floyd was lying about the kombucha tea causing the failed test that Floyd would be cut. Bottom line: a four-game ban can't help Floyd's chances of making the team. He'll try to make the team and then come back after four games to contribute in Week 5.

Tyler Lockett appears to be participating in Seahawks activities.
The Seahawks tweeted out a picture of Lockett catching a pass, and he looked to be practicing like normal. There's been no official word, but the thought was to get Lockett ready for training camp and OTAs would be a plus. It's looking like Lockett is good and going, which is great to see. He'll be Russell Wilson's primary deep threat this season.

Rams receiver Mike Thomas is suspended four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.
A sixth round pick in 2016, Thomas was making a solid first impression on the new coaching staff until this news. Obviously, this hurts the second year receiver's chances of having a big role in 2017. Thomas will be able to practice with the team during training camp and play in preseason games, but then will be away from the team for the first four games of the regular season. It's possible Thomas doesn't make the team with this suspension hanging over him if other players step up and force the Rams to make tough decisions in the receiving group.

Adam Schefter believes Ezekiel Elliott could face "some sort of short suspension" this season.
Schefter says the NFL is nearing the end of the investigation into an alleged domestic assault from 2016 when Elliott was at Ohio State. According to Schefter, Elliott needs to still respond to the NFL's "recent findings," and the star running back is "bracing" for a short suspension. Schefter says there is a "growing sense" Elliott will be facing some discipline from the NFL, and it could be a suspension. This lines up with what Schefter said last week when he said on SiriusXM Fantasy Radio that he would not draft Ezekiel Elliott if he had a fantasy draft today. Elliott is currently a consensus top three running back, but we'll see what happens if he ends up suspended by the league for one or two games.
