Freeman was on SiriusXM NFL and said he's not rushing it, but thinks "something great will get worked out long-term." This comes under an hour after the report from Dianna Russini that the Falcons are "confident" they will be able to extend their All-Pro running back. Freeman also said that both sides have to be "comfortable" with the new deal, indicating he knows the contract negotiations and new contract will be a compromise between him and the team. Freeman did also say he's fine with playing out the final year of his contract. But a deal should get done before the season.

Browns receivers coach Al Saunders hopes Corey Coleman can stay healthy.
Saunders said he's "disappointed" that Coleman missed a lot of of training camp last season and offseason training this year because it's difficult for him to progress while missing time. Saunders did also say that Coleman has come "a long way" from last year, in terms of understanding the offense. The second-year receiver is expected to be good to go for training camp, and it'll be an important one as he looks to stay healthy and have a breakout season. Coleman offers solid upside this season as someone currently going outside the top 100 picks in fantasy drafts, but his ADP could rise if he looks good in the preseason.

The Falcons are confident they will be able to sign Devonta Freeman to a contract extension, according to Dianna Russini.
Russini says the Falcons think they'll have a deal done "by the first week of training camp." The public stances of both sides have been all positive since after the season, despite Freeman's agent saying he deserves to be paid as an elite back the week of the Super Bowl. It's looking like the Falcons are fine with giving Freeman, who is scheduled to be a free agent after this season, a nice contract, despite the presence of Tevin Coleman in the backfield too. Even if a deal doesn't get done (which it sounds like it will), Freeman should get another 250-300 touches this season.

Russell Wilson decreased his body fat from 16% to 10% and lost over ten pounds.
Sheil Kapadia of ESPN talked to Wilson's new nutritionist Philip Goglia about changes Wilson has made to his diet. Goglia has worked with celebrities and athletes and is a highly-touted nutritionist in that community. Wilson now eats nine meals a day and increase his calorie intake to 4,800 (up from about 2,700), according to Kapadia. It's a monster diet (viewable in the link below), but it's led to a healthier and lighter Wilson. The quarterback says he'd like to play below 215 pounds this season, which should help him be even quicker and more agile than he already is. Wilson is one of the most committed players in the league, and he should be looking more like his 2015-self after he battled injuries throughout last season. He's a clear QB1 in 2017 fantasy drafts.

Former Bears receiver Marquess Wilson is signing with the Jets.
His agency announced the signing on Twitter. Wilson spent all four of his seasons with the Bears, where he was limited to three games last season before a foot injury sent him to Injured Reserve. In 11 games in 2015, Wilson averaged 16.6 yards per reception; and in his three games last year, he averaged 17.8 yards per reception. Quincy Enunwa and Robby Anderson are likely to be the Jets' top two receivers, but Wilson will have a chance to compete for a primary spot in three receiver sets. Wilson is a 6'4" receiver with good speed that was seen by some as part of the Bears' future plans until injuries hit him.

Titans tight end Delanie Walker talks up rookie Jonnu Smith.
According to The Tennessean, Walker said "one day he will be better than me." Walker didn't just mean that eventually Smith will take over as the Titans' lead tight end, as Walker also said Smith will be a "star" in the NFL. The third-round tight end has gotten great reviews from the spring practices, and he should have a solid role as a rookie. While he might not have much fantasy value this season with Delanie Walker in front of him, he's a testament to how deep the Titans have gotten at the skill positions this offseason.

Jarvis Landry's agent Damarius Bilbo tells Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald they have a deadline for a contract extension.
Bilbo told Jackson that they will cut off negotiations with the Dolphins when the regular season starts on September 10. The Dolphins reportedly have not made an offer to Landry, who has one year remaining on his rookie contract. Landry is tied with his former college teammate Odell Beckham Jr. for the most receptions (288) in NFL history during a player's first three seasons. He has yet to top five touchdowns in a season, but Landry has been a reliable target for the team and is likely looking for $10+ million per year. If the two sides don't come to an agreement, the Dolphins can always franchise tag Landry. It's also possible he hits free agency after the season.
