Williams told NFL Network's Steve Wyche that he wants Cousins to remain "in the worst way." He said negotiations are ongoing (he seemed to indicate he's not involved in the talks, in terms of numbers), but he made it clear he wants Cousins, almost pleading for him to sign a long-term extension and explaining that they have a good thing going in Washington. The two sides have until July 15 to work out a deal. If they can't work out something by then, it's not out of the question for the Redskins to tag him for a third straight year after next season.

Eagles receivers coach Mike Groh thinks Alshon Jeffery might have had his best offseason since 2013.
According to Tim McManus, Groh said he is "pleased" with Jeffery's spring performance and that the big receiver is "in a good place" physically and mentally. Groh coached Jeffery from 2013-2015 with the Bears and oversaw his two best years in the NFL. Jeffery hasn't topped 1,000 yards in either of the last two seasons, in part because of battling injuries and suspension, both of which caused him to miss games. If he can stay healthy, the Eagles' number one receiver should easily reach 1,000 yards this season. He has a decent amount of upside in 2017 fantasy drafts.

Hype continues for third-year receiver DeVante Parker.
NFL.com's Jeffri Chadiha is among the many reporters that believes Parker is "poised" to breakout this season. Reporters are not the only ones talking up Parker, however, as offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen and head coach Adam Gase have both implied he's ready for a breakout season. Gase recently said it's "evident" Parker is more committed this season and working harder, showing consistency and treating "every day like it's a game." The Dolphins have a lot of good players on the offense, including Jarvis Landry, Julius Thomas, Kenny Stills, and Jay Ajayi, but Parker could emerge as a big-time receiver in his third season in the league. He's a high upside selection in fantasy drafts this summer.

Titans receiver Harry Douglas is excited about the team's rookie receivers.
Douglas said rookies Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor are "special." The veteran receiver said he loves the work ethic of the rookies and thinks "they are going to do big things" for the team. Douglas has been around a lot of good players throughout his career, including Julio Jones and Roddy White, and the former Falcon has been helpful for the first rounder Davis and the third rounder Taylor as they get adjusted to the NFL. The two rookies could both be solid contributors to the Titans in their first season. Davis in particular could put up some big numbers as a rookie.

TMZ Sports: Michael Floyd violated his probation.
TMZ is reporting that the receiver tested positive for alcohol. Floyd is currently on probation/house arrest and isn't supposed to drink alcohol, so this is a problem. According to TMZ, five tests were "flagged," with three of them testing as "high alcohol tests." Floyd reportedly is blaming the failed test on Kombucha tea, but his B.A.C. was reportedly over .044, making it seem unlikely to be the case. It looks like Floyd might have serious drinking issues (and could be headed back to jail), but we have to wait for all the facts to come out.

Cam Newton has resumed throwing.
Newton underwent shoulder surgery for his partially torn rotator cuff on March 30, and his rehab is right on schedule with him throwing again. The 2015 MVP made some simple throws in the locker room, which is shown in a video from the Panthers in the link below. He’s working to get his range of motion back after not throwing for nearly three months. It’s great that Newton is throwing about a month before training camp, and he said there is “no doubt” he will be 100% by then. The Panthers quarterback will acclimate to his new weapons and look to make improvements to his accuracy after struggling with it at times last season while completing a by-far career-low 52.9% of his passes. Just one season removed from a dominant season, Newton isn’t a bad pick based on his current eighth round average draft position.

Derrick Henry "definitely looks faster this offseason."
The huge second year-back caught two deepballs in one minicamp practice this week, something pretty crazy for a 6'3", 235 pound running back. Henry already averaged 10.5 yards per reception as a rookie, but it's scary to think he can do more on passes down the field. Henry is a unique player, with a size/speed combination that is almost unseen—being different is probably why the former Heisman winner slipped to the second round in the draft. DeMarco Murray will be the lead back for the Titans this season, but Henry will get his touches.
