Join now >Joe Mixon (foot) will not play in Week 15.
This has been expected, and Mixon remains week-to-week. It’s difficult to be confident about Mixon returning this season, but he should probably be held on fantasy rosters after keeping him for this long.

Chase Edmonds (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Week 15.
Edmonds will likely be limited in practice throughout the week, and he’s set to be listed as questionable when the final injury report is out on Friday. If Edmonds is out, Kenyan Drake might get a heavier workload than usual for Arizona.

The Texans activated David Johnson from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Johnson missed just one game while on the COVID list, an he’ll be back in the lineup for Week 15 against the Colts. As one of the better players on a depleted Texans offense, DJ could get a nice workload this Sunday.

Jakeem Grant (hamstring) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Grant and DeVante Parker were both on the practice field in a limited capacity today, so both figure to have a pretty good shot to play in Week 15. Ideally, Grant will be able to string together two more practice tomorrow and Friday.

DeVante Parker (hamstring) was officially limited in today’s practice.
This is a positive sign for a Wednesday practice, and we anticipate Parker pushing through this hamstring issue and playing this Sunday against the Patriots. We’ll let you know how Parker is listed on the final Week 15 injury report when it’s released on Friday.

Mike Gesicki (shoulder) officially did not practice today.
This isn’t a surprise after Gesicki left last Sunday’s game with his arm hanging following the shoulder injury. Gesicki appears to be on the doubtful side of things for Week 15, but we’ll let you know if he returns to practice during the week.
12/16/20 - 04:54 PM ET
Drew Brees (ribs) was officially designated to return from injured reserve.
It’s just a matter of when Brees is added back to the active roster, but he presumably had little trouble throwing when he tested his ribs out today. With his practice window activated, Brees likely has a shot to to start this Sunday against the Chiefs, but keep in mind that the team does not need to list his official practice status throughout the week because he is not on the 53-man roster yet.
