Join now >Hunter Renfrow (concussion) has officially been ruled out for the rest of tonight.
Renfrow took a hit to the head on a punt return in the third quarter, and he’s now officially out after heading into the locker room to get evaluated. Before leaving, Renfrow had one reception for four yards. We hope he’s feeling better soon, and he’ll have nearly two weeks to get cleared for Week 16.

Derek Carr suffers apparent groin injury.
On a third-and-goal scramble to the right, Carr pulled up and immediately reached for his groin area. He was limping pretty badly and is headed straight to the locker room, so it looks like something that will probably keep him out for the rest of tonight’s game against the Chargers. Former No. 2 overall pick Marcus Mariota will now get some run in Jon Gruden’s offense in what is a very interesting pairing. Before leaving, Carr was 3/5 for 53 yards.

Mike Williams (back) is officially active for Week 15.
An ESPN report stated that Williams was unlikely to play tonight, but the big receiver is indeed active for Thursday Night Football against the Raiders. Williams basically missed all of last week after leaving early with a back issue, and he’s expected to be on a snap count tonight.

Keenan Allen (hamstring) is officially active for Thursday night.
Allen is at less than 100% and will reportedly be limited against the Raiders, but the Pro Bowl receiver has a crafty enough game that he can still do some damage at less than full strength. There’s risk, but Allen isn’t a bad option in Week 15 fantasy lineups.

Raheem Mostert (ankle) was officially limited in today’s practice.
This was expected after 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan basically said the team wanted to give Mostert a rest day to start the practice week yesterday. However, Mostert is not a lock to play this Sunday against the Cowboys. We do anticipate him playing, but he could be trending toward a questionable tag when the final Week 15 injury report is released tomorrow.

The Chiefs are signing Tajae Sharpe to the practice squad, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Sharpe—who was recently waived by the Vikings—will need to pass COVID-19 protocols, but he adds depth to the organization ahead of another hopeful playoff run. The veteran is unlikely to be promoted to the active roster over the final couple of weeks in the regular season.

Christian McCaffrey (quad, shoulder) is officially doubtful for Saturday night.
While there was some hope earlier in the week that McCaffrey might play in Week 15, it is again unlikely. Don’t count on having McCaffrey in your lineup for the second week of the fantasy playoffs.
