Join now >Cardinals receiver John Brown tweaked his hamstring and missed practice today.
People might get concerned because of Brown's injury and health issues last season, but it's probably just a hamstring strain. The Cardinals might be cautious with Brown, but he should certainly be good for training camp at the very latest, if he doesn't recover by the end of the offseason program.

Bears receiver Kevin White said he has to "turn it up" this season.
White said: "It's gotta happen now. I gotta turn up. For me, year three, it's time." White battled leg injuries through his first two seasons and has only played in four games. He racked up 19 catches, but only for 9.8 yards per catch in those four games last season. With Alshon Jeffery gone to Philadelphia, the team is likely looking for White to step up as the number one receiver they drafted him to be when they selected him seventh overall in 2015. If White is fully healthy and remains so, he could put up some good numbers this season.

Lions receiver Marvin Jones has a higher comfort level heading into this season.
This should be the case, as this is Jones' second year with the Lions after he signed with them as a free agent last year. Jones had a very hot start as a Lion last season, but he cooled off considerably in the second half of the year. Still, he averaged 16.9 yards per catch on the year, and is entering year two in the offense. Jones said he worked on his lower body last season, and he wants to do more with the ball in his hands after the catch. Jones offers some good upside later in fantasy drafts.

Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said the team isn't interested in signing Jeremy Maclin.
The Eagles brought in a lot of receivers this offseason, including free agents Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith. They also would have to do some cap navigation to be able to afford Maclin. The non-interest in Maclin could also be a sign that they're seeing positive things from some of their young guys like Nelson Agholor. Maclin is currently on a visit with the Ravens, and the Bills have interest too. It's unclear if the free agent receiver has any other visits set up, but we can rule Philadelphia out.

Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone says he is happy with the way Leonard Fournette is catching the ball at OTAs.
The fourth overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft could be in for a monster workload as a rookie if he surprises as a pass catcher when the games count. T.J. Yeldon should still see pass-game work, but Fournette seems poised for a workhorse role as the Jaguars try to finally make a leap and be competitive. Fournette will probably be compared to Ezekiel Elliott from a fantasy perspective all summer, but remember, the Cowboys had a much better offensive line in 2016 than the Jaguars do now. Still, Fournette should be a reliable RB1 if the talented Jacksonville defense can keep games close, which they should.

The Ravens have terminated tight end Dennis Pitta's contact.
They released him with an injury waiver. The move clears $2.5 million in cap space, which might help in their potential pursuit of receivers Eric Decker and Jeremy Maclin. Unfortunately, Pitta's career is very likely over after he suffered his third major hip injury in four years. He spent the last seven years with Baltimore after being drafted by them as a fourth round pick in 2010. Pitta was a key member of the Ravens over that time, including a Super Bowl XLVII victory that he caught a touchdown in. He will certainly remain a valued member of the Ravens family.

A.J. Green wants to play seven more seasons.
Green talked with Geoff Hobson of bengals.com and said he wants to play seven more years. Green has played six seasons so far, so he's aiming for 13 total. It's a very specific number, which is rather odd. But we're seven years away from that point, and a lot can change between now and then. Green would be 35-years-old if he retires after seven more seasons. Green has been among the top receivers in the league since he entered in 2011, and he should continue to be for the rest of his career.
