Join now >The Packers activated Jamaal Williams from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Williams had to miss last Thursday’s game while on the COVID-19 list, but he’s back and will again complement Aaron Jones in the Green Bay backfield after performing well in two games as the starter during Jones’ absence due to a calf injury.

The Bears are signing Kyle Sloter to the practice squad, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Sloter will essentially be the No. 3 option for now with Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) out. The Bears will take on the Vikings next Monday night.

MyCole Pruitt is dealing with a knee sprain, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Pruitt won’t play with a short turnaround on Thursday night, but there is hope he won’t miss much time beyond that. Jonnu Smith is the only reliable fantasy option at tight end for the Titans.

Kyle Allen (ankle) is expected to miss four months.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is on the timeline, and it sounds like Allen’s injury isn’t quite as bad as it could have been. He suffered just a small fracture in his ankle along with the dislocation. Allen’s season ends with 610 passing yards, four touchdowns, and one interception along with seven carries for 26 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown in four games. We wish Allen the best of luck on his recovery.

Albert Okwuegbunam is out for the season with a torn ACL, according to multiple reports.
This is a tough blow for the rookie tight end, as he was coming on strong and making an impact as of late. Okwuegbunam’s rookie year ends with 11 receptions for 121 yards and one touchdown in four games. The college teammate of Broncos quarterback Drew Lock at Missouri, Okwuegbunam should have a nice role as a complementary tight end to Noah Fant in 2021.

Jack Doyle remains in concussion protocol.
Doyle left the first half of yesterday’s loss to the Ravens, and he now faces a major uphill climb to get cleared on a short week. Expect Doyle to be ruled out for the Colts’ Week 10 Thursday night matchup against the Titans.

Nick Chubb (knee) has been designated for return off injured reserve.
Chubb, who is expected to have a good shot to play in Week 10 this Sunday, now has 21 days before he must be activated to the 53-man roster or spend the rest of the year on injured reserve. With the Browns making this move on a Monday off the bye as opposed to a Wednesday when the official practice week starts, the indication is that Chubb should be back very soon. Pick him up if he’s somehow available in your league.
