Join now >Jalen Hurts (ankle) will be questionable for Week 15.
Hurts practiced fully today, so we’d think he’ll be good to go for Sunday against Washington. However, the Eagles seem like they want to see more of Gardner Minshew, so we’ll see what happens. Overall, we’d say it’ll be difficult for Philadelphia to keep Hurts from playing in Week 15, but his status will be official on Sunday morning.

Donald Parham Jr. is expected to be released from the hospital today.
Parham stayed overnight to be evaluated, but thankfully he’s being released today. Parham has a concussion, which is of course serious itself, but it appears there are no other issues after the scary situation last night. We wish Parham a speedy recovery and hope to see him clear the concussion protocol relatively soon.

Tevin Coleman has cleared concussion protocol.
It’s good to hear that Coleman will be back for the Jets, but the running back room will be more crowded with rookie Michael Carter (ankle, injured reserve) also returning for Week 15 against the Dolphins.

Michael Carter (ankle) will be activated from injured reserve.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh says that Carter will have a big role against the Dolphins in Week 15. The rookie running back missed just three games while on injured reserve, returning as soon as possible, which is good to see. Carter should be a solid option in fantasy lineups this weekend.

Salvon Ahmed has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Ahmed joins Myles Gaskin as the returning players to the Miami backfield, so they are now in good shape for Week 15. Myles Gaskin is the clear preferred play as an RB2, but perhaps Ahmed will get more work than usual with the team splitting the work because the two returned to practice so late in the week.
12/17/21 - 10:51 AM ET
Myles Gaskin has cleared the COVID-19 protocols.
This is great news for Miami, as they will have their starting running back at practice today ahead of a big game on Sunday to get to 7-7. Against a Jets defense allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing runners, Gaskin will be on the RB2 map, though it’ll be interesting to see if he handles a normal workload.
12/17/21 - 10:50 AM ET
Washington is signing Garrett Gilbert.
Gilbert will immediately be the No. 2 quarterback on Sunday with Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen on the reserve/COVID-19 list, as Kyle Shurmur is expected to be called up from the practice squad to start. Unfortunately for Washington, the issues are popping up ahead of a huge game with playoff implications against the Eagles.
