Join now >The Vikings placed Alexander Mattison on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Mattison is apparently one of 27 positive tests around the NFL today. If Mattison is unvaccinated, he would be out for Week 15, so we’ll see if there’s word on his status soon.

The Vikings claimed Wayne Gallman.
Just waived by the Falcons over the weekend, Gallman lands in a good spot for a Vikings squad contending for a playoff spot. Gallman doesn’t carry much fantasy value at the moment, but he’ll provide depth in Minnesota.

The Eagles placed Quez Watkins on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Eagles running back Jason Huntley was also placed on the COVID list as the Eagles return from the bye. Because Watkins and Huntley were likely away from teammates during the week off, hopefully this isn’t something that spreads. And hopefully they’re both feeling OK and can rejoin the team soon.

Tyler Higbee is being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
The team also placed superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey on the list, so they’ll be down two key players just a few hours away from taking on the Cardinals in primetime. Hopefully there aren’t too many fantasy owners counting on Higbee in a difficult matchup, but if so, you’ll have to quickly pivot to Zach Ertz (if available), Robert Blanton, or Brycen Hopkins at tight end.

Lamar Jackson is dealing with a low-ankle sprain.
This was the thought yesterday, and it appears the MRI might have confirmed that today. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that the hope is for Jackson to play this Sunday against the Packers. Look for Jackson to be limited throughout practice this week, but we’d think he’ll be ready to go for Week 15 despite missing most of yesterday’s loss to the Browns with his ankle injury.

Giovani Bernard also suffered a knee injury in Week 14.
In addition to the hip injury suffered yesterday against the Bills, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that Bernard also sprained his MCL. The veteran running back is clearly set to miss time with these ailments, and he can probably be considered week-to-week. Hopefully Bernard is feeling better soon and can return for the Bucs ahead of the postseason.

Phillip Lindsay has tested positive for COVID-19, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Lindsay joins Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed on the list, as Miami’s top three runners are now in danger of missing Week 15 against the Jets—though each guy being vaccinated gives them a chance to clear protocols before Sunday. For anyone in need of a plug-and-play option at running back, you can hope Patrick Laird doesn’t eventually test positive and will have a significant role in a plus matchup to begin the fantasy playoffs.
