Join now >The Rams are trading Robert Woods to the Titans.
Woods was said to be on the trade market following LA’s signing of Allen Robinson, and Tennessee is acquiring him for a sixth-round pick. Although he’s coming off a torn ACL, the veteran will be an important part of the offense alongside A.J. Brown in 2022, and it fills one of the team’s biggest needs following the release of Julio Jones. The switch to a much more run-heavy offense should make Woods a strong FLEX rather than the WR2 he was with the Rams.

The Browns are signing Jacoby Brissett.
Brissett will step in as the No. 2 quarterback for Cleveland with Baker Mayfield set to be traded and Case Keenum already sent to Buffalo. This signing is especially important because there is a good chance Brissett makes several starts if Deshaun Watson ends up facing a suspension following the NFL’s investigation into his 22 alleged sexual assaults.

The Rams have signed Matthew Stafford to a four-year, $160-million extension.
Stafford will get $135 million guaranteed in the deal, and it likely sets him up to finish his career in Los Angeles. The Rams signing Allen Robinson will only boost the floor and ceiling of the offense in 2022, so Stafford’s QB1 outlook looks more favorable this year than it did last summer.

The Browns are trading Case Keenum to the Bills, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Keenum will be the new backup quarterback for Josh Allen with Cleveland likely having a whole new quarterback room, and it’s a good move for a ready-to-win Buffalo team; if Josh Allen has to miss time at some point, Keenum is a veteran that can steer the ship in a spot start. Matt Barkley has been recently connected to the Bills for a possible reunion, so we’ll see if the acquisition of Keenum changes things.

The Falcons are re-signing Cordarrelle Patterson.
The running back market is moving extremely slow, but this obviously makes a ton of sense for both the Falcons and Patterson after the way the versatile playmaker was used in Arthur Smith’s offense last season. Patterson ended the season on a relatively down note in terms of statistical production, but he had 1,166 yards from scrimmage and 11 touchdowns in 2021. The Falcons also added another versatile piece in Damien Williams to the backfield, but we’ll see how Patterson is schemed and planned for on offense this year after proving that he can be a high-volume offensive weapon.

Josh Johnson is signing with the Broncos.
Johnson should step in as the backup to Russell Wilson barring another move, and it’d be nice to see him solidified in Denver after bouncing around to so many teams throughout his career. The veteran played well in a start last season for the Ravens.

James Washington is signing with the Cowboys.
Washington is landing in a terrific spot as the No. 3 wideout for Dallas, and his vertical skillset fits well alongside CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup. Particularly if Gallup isn’t healthy for the opener coming off a torn ACL, Washington—who flashed whenever given the opportunity in Pittsburgh—should be an undervalued option in redraft leagues as an upside FLEX.
