Join now >Calvin Ridley (abdomen) says he’s out for the season.
On Instagram, Ridley himself announced that he’s done for the season after the abdomen injury suffered in yesterday’s win over the Panthers. This is a shame for the second-year receiver, who has been on fire lately, with lines of 8/143/1, 6/85/1, 8/91, and 5/76/1 in his last four games. Ridley’s season ends with 63 receptions for 866 yards and seven touchdowns along with two carries for 34 yards in 13 games. A clear focus of the Falcons offense moving forward, the talented Ridley has a promising future and should have an excellent shot at his first 1,000-yard season next year.

Mark Andrews’ knee injury is considered minor, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This was the hope yesterday, and it sounds like Andrews will have a shot to play this Thursday night against the Jets. It’ll be difficult to gauge Andrews’ status based on a very light week of practice, but hopefully he can be listed as questionable on the final Week 15 injury report when it’s released on Wednesday. Hayden Hurst would get a boost and could be in the TE1 mix if Andrews is out this week.

Robert Woods goes for 7/98/1 line in SNF victory.
Following lines of 6/97 and 13/172 in the previous two games, Woods stayed hot and was able to find the end zone for the first time this season as the Rams picked up a huge win over Seattle. It looked like Woods—who also rushed twice for 29 yards—has become the clear focal-point of the passing attack by getting featured in both the typical 11 personnel and two-tight-end sets that Sean McVay has put an emphasis on, so he’s trending back towards WR1 status to close out the year. Next up is a matchup against the Cowboys in Dallas.

Mike Williams scores first touchdown of the season in win over the Jaguars.
It looked like Williams was going to have another quiet day with everyone else on the Chargers going off, but he had a 44-yard highlight touchdown in the second half to put Los Angeles up, 38-10. The former first-round pick had just three targets for the game, but fantasy owners that rolled with him on Sunday will take the touchdown (he also had a 19-yard reception to finish 2/63/1). Williams will hope the flood gates are now open ahead of next week’s matchup against the Vikings.

Sony Michel sees just six touches in loss to the Chiefs.
Michel rushed five times for eight yards and caught a one-yard pass in the team’s 23-16 defeat. All of the touches came in the first quarter (including four on the opening drive), so it’s shocking that New England abandoned the run so quickly against a defense that Michel dominated in 2018. You would think next week has to be a spot where Michel will get going in Cincinnati, but the floor will probably leave him no better than low-end RB2 territory.

Mohamed Sanu limited to one reception in loss to the Chiefs.
It went for 13 yards and came on his only target. The veteran is playing banged up with an ankle injury, but he’s combined for 30 scoreless yards over the past three games since a breakout 10/81/1 line in Week 9, and the Patriots need him to get going down the stretch if no reinforcements are coming at receiver. Sanu will be a risky start next week against the Bengals.

A.J. Brown goes off in win over the Raiders.
Brown caught five-of-seven targets for 153 yards and two touchdowns—both of which were highlight plays that showed the rookie is the total package at receiver. On the first, Brown got behind the defense for a 91-yard touchdown, and then he followed it up with a 16-yard catch-and-run that displayed his power by breaking arm tackles on his way to the end zone. Now averaging 20.0 yards per reception this season, Brown has a real shot at 1,000 yards as a rookie (currently at 779 on just 61 targets). The Titans will get three great matchups to close out the regular season (v HOU, v NO, @ HOU).
