Join now >Jamaal Williams has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Williams would have drawn another start with D’Andre Swift (shoulder) out again, but that unfortunately won’t happen as COVID issues hit Detroit. Look for rookie Jermar Jefferson to be the lead back for the Lions with Godwin Igwebuike also mixing in, but it will be a difficult spot facing the Broncos in Denver.

T.J. Hockenson (hand) is doubtful for Week 14.
Hockenson is unlikely to play this weekend, especially since Detroit no longer has the pressure of a winless season hanging over them. With D’Andre Swift (shoulder) out and Jamaal Williams placed on the COVID-19 list, the offense will be severely undermanned for Jared Goff on the road in Denver.

Darren Waller (knee) has been ruled out for Week 14.
This is unfortunate but expected with Waller labeled week-to-week with his knee injury, so fantasy owners will hope he’s back to begin the fantasy playoffs. No Waller will be a definite downgrade to Derek Carr and the passing attack, but Foster Moreau was close to hitting on a couple of big plays last week, and he’ll again be a low-end TE1 streamer.

Myles Gaskin has tested positive for COVID-19, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Miami’s bye week came at a good time for Gaskin, and he will have a chance to get cleared by next Sunday because he’s vaccinated. Still, Salvon Ahmed and/or Phillip Lindsay are worth picking up for running back-needy teams ahead of the fantasy playoffs, especially with the Dolphins playing the Jets in Week 15.

Tony Pollard (foot) is officially listed as questionable for Week 14.
Pollard was said to be a gametime decision, and this confirms that after he tore his plantar fascia against the Saints in Week 13. We’d say Pollard will probably push through and play versus Washington this week, but check back Sunday morning for his official game status.

Allen Robinson will play in Week 14.
After missing the past three games with a hamstring injury, Robinson will return to the lineup for this Sunday night against the Packers. The veteran receiver’s presence will be a boost for rookie quarterback Justin Fields, who is also returning to the lineup this week.

Davis Mills will start the rest of the season for the Texans.
This is not at all surprising, as the Texans are out of contention and will want to see more of what they have in the rookie quarterback over the final five games of the season before potentially deciding on whether they will bring in another young quarterback this offseason. Mills is in a tough spot playing for one of the worst teams in the league, but hopefully he shows promise and progress over the final five games.
