Join now >Mark Andrews (foot) is officially active for Week 3.
Andrews continues to deal with a foot issue, but he’ll be out there to face the Chiefs in a highly anticipated game. The No. 1 fantasy tight end through two weeks, Andrews is a high-upside TE1 for Week 3.

Rashaad Penny (hamstring) officially did not practice today.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Penny would be practicing today, but the second-year running back was officially listed as a non-participant. Carroll is generally really optimistic, so he was probably just hoping Penny would be out there. We’ll keep you updated on Penny’s practice status the next couple of days leading up to Week 4.

Alshon Jeffery (calf) is officially inactive for the Eagles.
A report emerged that the Eagles were optimistic Jeffery could play today against the Lions, but it’s not surprising that he’s out after missing practice all week with the calf injury. Keep in mind the Eagles have a short week for Week 4 as they play on Thursday night, so at least there might be optimism that he can suit up in a few days.

Darren Waller racks up 13 catches against the Vikings.
Waller gained 134 yards on his 13 receptions in the Raiders’ Week 3 loss at Minnesota. The passing attack of Oakland ran through Waller, who was used in a variety of ways and was the best player on offense for the team. Waller has at least six receptions in each of his first three games, and—while he might start getting more attention from opposing defenses—he should get better with more experience and should continue putting up strong numbers all season. It’s not a question whether Waller is a fantasy TE1 this season, it’s a question of how far he’s behind the elite top option at the position in Travis Kelce.

LeSean McCoy (ankle) is officially active for the Chiefs.
McCoy was limited in practice throughout the week, and this was expected. With Damien Williams (knee) out, McCoy is set to start and could get a heavier workload in Week 3. McCoy is facing a tough Ravens defense, though, and he’s more of a FLEX option for today.

Melvin Gordon is ending his holdout, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
It was reported last night and this morning that Gordon was planning on reporting to the Chargers soon (potentially tomorrow), and Rapoport says the star running back is indeed joining his team tomorrow. After missing today’s practice (and all of the spring, summer, and first three weeks), Gordon won’t be playing this weekend, but he’ll likely get back into the swing of things and be ready to go for Week 5. Those that spent a mid-to-late-round fantasy draft pick on Gordon likely got a major steal, as he arguably would have been a top-five pick had he been with the team and playing 16 games. Austin Ekeler (and to some extent Justin Jackson) will remain involved as they have in the past, but Gordon is likely to be a near-workhorse for LA and should be a fantasy RB1 from Week 5 to the end of the season. The thought was that Gordon would hold out for eight games to still be eligible for free agency, but he’s been losing money every week by missing paychecks, and he can build his value approaching free agency by playing the way he’s played for his team the past few years over the final 12 games of this season.

Marlon Mack (calf) is officially active for Week 3.
Mack missed practice n Wednesday and Thursday, but he was out there on a limited basis to end the week and is active today against the Falcons. There is some risk of re-injury or Mack being used less than usual, but he’s an RB2 option after racking up 45 carries through two games.
