Join now >Cody Latimer (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 3.
This isn’t a surprise after Latimer just suffered his concussion last Sunday. Hopefully Latimer is feeling better soon and can play in Week 4 versus the Redskins.

Jordan Reed (concussion) has been ruled out for Monday night’s game.
Reed will now miss his third consecutive game to start the year, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he missed all of September (or even beyond) at this point. Hopefully the former Pro Bowler can get cleared soon and have a productive season.

The Saints are signing J.T. Barrett to the practice squad.
Barrett was previously with New Orleans, and now he’s back in the building after Drew Brees’ thumb injury that will sideline him for several weeks. The former Ohio State star does not need to be owned in dynasty leagues at the moment.

Miles Sanders has up and down Week 3.
Sanders carried 13 times for 53 yards and caught two passes for 73 yards against the Lions, leading the Eagles in both rushing and receiving. But the rookie running back fumbled twice—an issue for him entering the league—and lost one of them in a 27-24 loss. The good news is the Eagles went back to Sanders just a few plays after his first fumble (which was recovered by Philadelphia), and then they still didn’t shy away from him after the second fumble was lost. While Jordan Howard, who scored on the ground, is a very productive player that should probably get more touches, the Eagles clearly want Sanders to be the lead runner right now. Sanders’ explosiveness makes him a solid FLEX option for Thursday night at Lambeau Field.

Sterling Shepard will play in Week 3.
The Giants said Shepard was close to getting cleared from concussion protocol, and he was officially cleared quickly after and is ready to go for Sunday against the Buccaneers. You might want to wait to see how the offense operates before you get Shepard into your fantasy lineup, but his value could get a boost with Daniel Jones under center. Consider Shepard a FLEX for Week 3.

Trey Burton (groin) is officially listed as questionable for Monday night.
Burton was limited all week in practice as he continues to battle a groin issue. Burton was active last week, but he’s very difficult to trust in fantasy lineups right now.

The Lions have claimed Paul Perkins off waivers.
Perkins was waived by the Giants yesterday, but he quickly finds a new home in Detroit. The UCLA product isn’t a recommended fantasy pickup, but he might get some work behind Kerryon Johnson when he gets a grasp of the offense.
