2024 Fantasy Football Mock Draft 8.0: 12-Team, 0.5 PPR

There are only two weekends left until the 2024 NFL Season begins, and the final fantasy football mock draft of the year is for a 12-team, 0.5 PPR format. Previous mocks can be viewed at the links below:

Mock Draft 1.0: 10-team, 0.5 PPR

Mock Draft 2.0: 8-team, Full PPR (3 WR)

Mock Draft 3.0: 14-team, 0.5 PPR (Superflex)

Mock Draft 4.0: 12-team, Full PPR

Mock Draft 5.0: 12-team, 0.5 PPR (Auction)

Mock Draft 6.0: 10-Team, Standard

Mock Draft 7.0: 12-team, Dynasty

Round 1

1.01: Christian McCaffrey, SF RB

1.02: Tyreek Hill, MIA WR

1.03: Ja’Marr Chase, CIN WR

1.04: CeeDee Lamb, DAL WR

1.05: Breece Hall, NYJ RB

1.06: Bijan Robinson, ATL RB

1.07: Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET WR

1.08: Justin Jefferson, MIN WR

1.09: A.J. Brown, PHI WR

1.10: Jonathan Taylor, IND RB

1.11: Garrett Wilson, NYJ WR

1.12: Saquon Barkley, PHI RB

Thoughts: The uncertainty around CeeDee Lamb’s contract situation keeps McCaffrey as the top pick despite a calf injury, and he’s fully expected to be ready for the opener. As someone that wants to always be on the field, McCaffrey should keep his cheat code status in 2024.

Round 2

2.01: Jahmyr Gibbs, DET RB

2.02: Puka Nacua, LAR WR

2.03: Derrick Henry, BAL RB

2.04: Marvin Harrison Jr., ARI WR

2.05: Cooper Kupp, LAR WR

2.06: Josh Allen, BUF QB

2.07: Kyren Williams, LAR RB

2.08: Travis Etienne Jr., JAC RB

2.09: Mike Evans, TB WR

2.10: Isiah Pacheco, KC RB

2.11: Brandon Aiyuk, SF WR

2.12: De’Von Achane, MIA RB

Thoughts: Achane seemed to see his stock drop a bit because Raheem Mostert clearly played ahead of him in the second week of preseason action—but that wasn’t unexpected. Look for Achane to be unleashed in a variety of ways when the real games begin.

Round 3

3.01: Jalen Hurts, PHI QB

3.02: Josh Jacobs, GB RB

3.03: Lamar Jackson, BAL QB

3.04: Travis Kelce, KC TE

3.05: Davante Adams, LV WR

3.06: Deebo Samuel Sr., SF WR

3.07: Michael Pittman Jr., IND WR

3.08: Kenneth Walker III, SEA RB

3.09: Rachaad White, TB RB

3.10: Chris Olave, NO WR

3.11: Drake London, ATL WR

3.12: DeVonta Smith, PHI WR

Thoughts: Getting another running back was a consideration here, but Hurts gives me an elite option at quarterback and three team-carrying options as the foundation of my roster.

Round 4

4.01: Sam LaPorta, DET TE

4.02: Patrick Mahomes, KC QB

4.03: Joe Mixon, HOU RB

4.04: James Cook, BUF RB

4.05: Trey McBride, ARI TE

4.06: Rhamondre Stevenson, NE RB

4.07: Nico Collins, HOU WR

4.08: Alvin Kamara, NO RB

4.09: Jaylen Waddle, MIA WR

4.10: Malik Nabers, NYG WR

4.11: C.J. Stroud, HOU QB

4.12: DK Metcalf, SEA WR

Thoughts: Metcalf gets a tough draw in Week 1 versus Pat Surtain II as someone to keep in mind, but he should be featured in a new system that won’t be afraid to push the ball down the field.

Round 5

5.01: George Pickens, PIT WR

5.02: James Conner, ARI RB

5.03: Zamir White, LV RB

5.04: Aaron Jones, MIN RB

5.05: Stefon Diggs, HOU WR

5.06: David Montgomery, DET RB

5.07: Mark Andrews, BAL TE

5.08: Amari Cooper, CLE WR

5.09: DJ Moore, CHI WR

5.10: Anthony Richardson, IND QB

5.11: D’Andre Swift, CHI RB

5.12: Najee Harris, PIT RB

Thoughts: Pickens is one of the most undervalued players of the year by going outside the top 50 picks, so I’m able to get him in Round 5 as a weapon that should be the focal point of Pittsburgh’s passing attack.

Round 6

6.01: Rashee Rice, KC WR

6.02: Dalton Kincaid, BUF TE

6.03: George Kittle, SF TE

6.04: Kyle Pitts, ATL TE

6.05: Kyler Murray, ARI QB

6.06: Javonte Williams, DEN RB

6.07: Evan Engram, JAX TE

6.08: Jake Ferguson, DAL TE

6.09: Joe Burrow, CIN QB

6.10: Raheem Mostert, MIA RB

6.11: Tee Higgins, CIN WR

6.12: Tank Dell, HOU WR

Thoughts: I had my eye on a couple of tight ends here, but they flew off the board—causing me to pivot to Dell as another high-upside wide receiver, and he’s shown tremendous chemistry with C.J. Stroud.

Round 7

7.01: Terry McLaurin, WAS WR

7.02: Brian Robinson Jr., WAS RB

7.03: Christian Kirk, JAX WR

7.04: Tony Pollard, TEN RB

7.05: Zay Flowers, BAL WR

7.06: Jordan Love, GB QB

7.07: Calvin Ridley, TEN WR

7.08: Jonathon Brooks, CAR RB

7.09: Dak Prescott, DAL QB

7.10: Keenan Allen, CHI WR

7.11: Zack Moss, CIN RB

7.12: Jayden Daniels, WAS QB

Thoughts: McLaurin could be fed targets in Washington following the trade of Jahan Dotson, and Jayden Daniels’ deep ball could increase his ceiling from a weekly and season-long perspective.

Round 8

8.01: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, SEA WR

8.02: Jaylen Warren, PIT RB

8.03: 49ers D/ST

8.04: Nick Chubb, CLE RB

8.05: Tyjae Spears, TEN RB

8.06: Jerome Ford, CLE RB

8.07: Xavier Worthy, KC WR

8.08: Chris Godwin, TB WR

8.09: Devin Singletary, NYG RB

8.10: Diontae Johnson, CAR WR

8.11: Gus Edwards, LAC RB

8.12: David Njoku, CLE TE

Thoughts: Njoku is a nice fallback option after I didn’t get a tight end a couple of rounds ago, but we’ll see if the Cleveland passing attack can operate like it did with Joe Flacco under center at the end of 2023.

Round 9

9.01: Ezekiel Elliott, DAL RB

9.02: Jordan Addison, MIN WR

9.03: Jayden Reed, GB WR

9.04: Austin Ekeler, WAS RB

9.05: Chase Brown, CIN RB

9.06: Brian Thomas Jr., JAX WR

9.07: Tyler Allgeier, ATL RB

9.08: Blake Corum, LAR RB

9.09: Trey Benson, ARI RB

9.10: Hollywood Brown, KC WR

9.11: Jets D/ST

9.12: Rome Odunze, CHI WR

Thoughts: I wanted a somewhat safe option for my third running back with Christian McCaffrey banged up and De’Von Achane dealing with injury issues as a rookie, so Elliott should at least be a solid plug-and-play option when needed.

Round 10

10.01: Ty Chandler, MIN RB

10.02: J.K. Dobbins, LAC RB

10.03: Christian Watson, GB WR

10.04: Zach Charbonnet, SEA RB

10.05: Khalil Herbert, CHI RB

10.06: Chuba Hubbard, CAR RB

10.07: Rico Dowdle, DAL RB

10.08: DeAndre Hopkins, TEN WR

10.09: Ray Davis, BUF RB

10.10: Ladd McConkey, LAC WR

10.11: Courtland Sutton, DEN WR

10.12: Jameson Williams, DET WR

Thoughts: Williams is a top breakout candidate heading into his third season, and he could be worth a start in any given week based on just one touch or target if it goes for a big play.

Round 11

11.01: Mike Williams, NYJ WR

11.02: Jakobi Meyers, LV WR

11.03: Tyler Lockett, SEA WR

11.04: Keon Coleman, BUF WR

11.05: Jaylen Wright, TEN RB

11.06: Romeo Doubs, GB WR

11.07: Joshua Palmer, LAC WR

11.08: Rashid Shaheed, NO WR

11.09: Curtis Samuel, BUF WR

11.10: Antonio Gibson, NE RB

11.11: Jaleel McLaughlin, DEN RB

11.12: Josh Downs, IND WR

Thoughts: Williams appears good to go for the opener after tearing his ACL last year, and he has double-digit touchdown upside catching passes from Aaron Rodgers—particularly with Garrett Wilson drawing coverage away.

Round 12

12.01: Jared Goff, DET QB

12.02: Khalil Shakir, BUF WR

12.03: Adam Thielen, CAR WR

12.04: Brock Purdy, SF QB

12.05: Braelon Allen, NYJ RB

12.06: MarShawn Lloyd, GB RB

12.07: Caleb Williams, USC QB

12.08: Brock Bowers, LV TE

12.09: Ravens D/ST

12.10: Brandin Cooks, DAL WR

12.11: Jahan Dotson, PHI WR

12.12: Tyrone Tracy Jr., NYG RB

Thoughts: Tracy avoided a serious injury earlier this month, which puts him back on track to be New York’s No. 2 running back with a chance to carve out a substantial role behind Devin Singletary.

Round 13

13.01: Jamaal Williams, NO RB

13.02: Dallas Goedert, PHI TE

13.03: Pat Freiermuth, PIT TE

13.04: Kendre Miller, NO RB

13.05: Jerry Jeudy, CLE WR

13.06: Bucky Irving, TB RB

13.07: Dontayvion Wicks, GB WR

13.08: Tua Tagovailoa, MIA QB

13.09: Kimani Vidal, LAC RB

13.10: AJ Dillon, GB RB

13.11: Elijah Mitchell, SF RB

13.12: Cowboys D/ST

Thoughts: Williams has seen his stock increase due to Kendre Miller dealing with a hamstring injury for basically the entirety of training camp, and he should see increased work compared to his first year with the Saints.

Round 14

14.01: Dameon Pierce, HOU RB

14.02: Dalton Schultz, HOU TE

14.03: T.J. Hockenson, MIN TE

14.04: Cole Kmet, CHI TE

14.05: Adonai Mitchell, IND WR

14.06: Chigoziem Okonkwo, TEN TE

14.07: Taysom Hill, NO TE

14.08: Trevor Lawrence, JAX QB

14.09: Kirk Cousins, ATL QB

14.10: Roschon Johnson, CHI RB

14.11: Alexander Mattison, LV RB

14.12: Jordan Mason, SF RB

Thoughts: There are plenty of quality late-round options to consider, but drafting Christian McCaffrey and not being too strong in terms of depth makes Mason an excellent insurance policy as the new No. 2 for San Francisco.

Round 15

15.01: Browns D/ST

15.02: Chiefs D/ST

15.03: Steelers D/ST

15.04: Darnell Mooney, ATL WR

15.05: Brandon Aubrey, DAL K

15.06: Justin Tucker, BAL K

15.07: Bills D/ST

15.08: Jake Moody, SF K

15.09: Harrison Butker, KC K

15.10: Russell Wilson, PIT QB

15.11: Audric Estimé, DEN RB

15.12: Gabe Davis, JAX WR

Round 16

16.01: Ka’imi Fairbairn, HOU K

16.02: Jake Elliott, PHI K

16.03: Jason Sanders, MIA K

16.04: Dolphins D/ST

16.05: Eagles D/ST

16.06: Tyler Bass, BUF K

16.07: Texans D/ST

16.08: Raiders D/ST

16.09: Younghoe Koo, ATL K

16.10: Evan McPherson, CIN K

16.11: Dustin Hopkins, CLE K

16.12: Cameron Dicker, LAC K
