Join now >Jared Cook has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Los Angeles will get Austin Ekeler and Mike Williams back this week, but Cook is now out heading into an important matchup versus Denver. This news should lead to Justin Herbert relying even more on the wideouts and Ekeler in Week 17.
Darius Slayton is on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
New York will be down their entire depth chart at wide receiver aside from Kenny Golladay this weekend, so Jake Fromm and/or Mike Glennob will again be in a difficult spot. We’d anticipate Slayton being cleared by the season finale.
Kadarius Toney (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 17.
It will be another missed game for New York’s first-round pick, and the team hasn’t been able to get an extended look at him despite a monster 189-yard performance earlier this season. We’ll see if Toney is able to give it a go in Week 18 to build some momentum ahead of the offseason.
Mike Evans (hamstring) is questionable for Week 17.
Evans is off the COVID list, but we’ll see if he can give it a go on Sunday after injuring his hamstring a couple of weeks ago. The big receiver’s status will be set by at least 90 minutes before the 1:00 PM ET Sunday kickoff.
Antonio Brown (ankle) is officially questionable for Week 17.
AB tweaked his ankle in practice this week and is in jeopardy of missing this week against the Jets. The good news is the Bucs kick off in the early slate of games, so Brown’s status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.
