Join now >The Falcons signed Auden Tate.
Tate pretty much fell out of the rotation in Cincinnati, but he had 40 receptions for 575 yards and a touchdown back in 2019 and is an intriguing addition for a Falcons team in need of more pieces at wide receiver. The six-foot-five target should have a shot to win a starting role on the outside in Arthur Smith’s offense in 2022.
The Saints are re-signing Tre’Quan Smith.
Smith is getting a two-year deal to stay in New Orleans. In 2022, Smith will look to stay healthy and build on chemistry with quarterback Jameis Winston; the two profile as a good match stylistically, but they were unable to get much going last season.
The Chiefs are signing Ronald Jones.
It’s a one-year deal, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. This is an interesting landing spot for the former second-round pick of the Bucs. Jones is still just 24 years old, and he had two seasons over 1,000 yards from scrimmage with Tampa Bay before Leonard Fournette took control of the backfield last year. Clyde Edwards-Helaire remains in the Chiefs backfield and should have a big role if healthy, but don’t completely count out Jones having a shot at being the lead ball-carrier in Andy Reid’s offense.

The Giants are signing Richie James Jr.
James missed last season with a knee injury, but he can contribute on both offense and as a returner for the Giants. The former Niners receiver will look to carve out a nice role on offense this summer.

The Bears signed Trevor Siemian.
Nick Foles remains on Chicago’s roster, but he’s expected to move on at some point. The veteran Siemian is expected to back up second-year quarterback Justin Fields in 2022.
