WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Jeremy Sprinkle | Washington TE

Jeremy Sprinkle catches two passes in Week 16.

Sprinkle gained 22 yards on his two reception against the Titans. He worked as the top tight end with Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis out, but fantasy owners that took a chance on him in championship lineups didn't have it pay off. Sprinkle faces the Eagles in Week 17.

Jeremy Sprinkle | Washington TE

Jeremy Sprinkle scores in Week 15 win.

Sprinkle caught three passes for 19 yards, including a six-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter of a 16-13 victory. The receptions were the first of the year for the 2017 fifth-round pick, so he won't be a recommended option over the final two weeks.

Jeremy Sprinkle | Washington TE

Jeremy Sprinkle scores against the Saints.

Sprinkle was wide-open off a play-action fake in the red zone for a seven-yard touchdown. It was his only reception of the game, and Sprinkle's role isn't big enough to be considered a reliable fantasy option.

The Redskins select Arkansas TE Jeremy Sprinkle with the 154th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Sprinkle will start his career behind Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis, and could be one of the better third tight ends in the league. It makes sense though, as Jordan Reed is always missing games, so Sprinkle should see the field as a rookie. It's a stretch to believe he can be a year-one fantasy factor, but a couple injuries could lead to some production in Jay Gruden's offense.
