WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet handles 12 touches in Week 17 win.

Cadet rushed 11 times for 17 yards and caught a five-yard pass. It was the first appearance of the season for the veteran, so it must have felt good for him to get a win against his former team. Cadet turns 30 in February.

The Bills waived Travaris Cadet.

Cadet says he did everything he could for a roster spot, but unfortunately he didn't make the final roster at this time. Perhaps the Bills will bring him back at some point, though.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet is re-signing with the Bills, according to Adam Schefter.

Schefter says it's a one-year deal for Cadet, who suffered a bad leg injury by both fracturing his leg and dislocating his ankle on Christmas Eve versus New England. Now, he'll return to a backfield that also added Chris Ivory, but perhaps he'll carve out a role giving LeSean McCoy the occasional break on third down. Cadet will probably only be a fantasy option in very deep PPR leagues this season.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet (ankle) has been placed on injured reserve.

Cadet's injury suffered on Christmas Eve is being called a fractured ankle, and his season is officially over. Cadet appeared in seven games this season (one with the Jets and six with the Bills), carrying 23 times for 96 yards along with 16 receptions for 119 yards. The Bills might want to bring him back in 2018, but Cadet isn't a recommended fantasy option for 2018 as of now.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet leaves with devastating lower leg injury.

Cadet just took a carry with under two minutes to go in the first half, and it appears he may have suffered a dislocated ankle. The air cast was brought out, and Cadet is getting carted off before getting well wishes from some Bills teammates and Patriots players. It's really unfortunate to see this happen, especially on Christmas Eve. More information on the severity of Cadet's injury should be available within the next few days.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet gets five touches in Week 15.

Cadet had four carries for 24 yards and added a 14-yard reception in a Bills victory. He's been a very good pickup for the Bills, but Cadet is not a fantasy option while mixing in behind LeSean McCoy in the backfield.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet gets four carries in Week 14.

Cadet gained only two yards on his four attempts, as he was bottled up in the snow by the Colts. Especially with Mike Tolbert back in the mix, Cadet isn't a recommended fantasy option right now.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet handles seven touches in loss to the Patriots.

Cadet rushed four times for 22 yards and caught three passes for 19 yards. The receiving back was also the target on a Joe Webb deep ball, but the would-be touchdown was overthrown. Cadet should be on the waiver wire as the fantasy playoffs begin.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet gets nine touches in Week 12.

With Mike Tolbert (hamstring) out again, Cadet worked as the backup to LeSean McCoy. Cadet carried six times for 28 yards and added three receptions (on three targets) for 21 yards. He's playing well for the Bills, but Cadet isn't a recommended fantasy option behind McCoy.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet gets nine touches in his Bills debut.

Cadet carried three times for 17 yards and added six receptions (on six targets) for 39 yards in his first game with the Bills after being signed earlier this month. Though he had a solid performance as a receiver, it's worth noting the Bills were down big and ideally won't be throwing as much as they did against the Chargers. But Cadet might've worked his way into having a regular role in the backfield for Buffalo. It's difficult to trust him in fantasy lineups with LeSean McCoy as the clear lead guy, though.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

The Bills signed running back Travaris Cadet.

After the season-ending arm injury to running back Taiwan Jones in Thursday's game, the Bills are bringing in Cadet to help fill the void. Cadet might mix in on offense more than Jones did, but he's not a reliable fantasy option in Buffalo's backfield.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

The Jets released RB Travaris Cadet.

Cadet has ability to chip in on third downs and in the return game, so he should find a new team soon. The Jets are pretty crowded at running back with Matt Forte, Bilal Powell, and Elijah McGuire.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet sees four touches in Week 6 loss.

Cadet rushed once for three yards and caught three passes for 26 yards. The former Saint was clearly behind Matt Forte and Elijah McGuire for touches. He's not a fantasy option.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

The Jets are signing RB Travaris Cadet, according to multiple reports.

Cadet was with the Saints for the last two seasons, but he just missed the final roster after the team drafted Alvin Kamara in the second round of the draft. He's a good pass catcher, but he probably won't have a ton of fantasy value.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Travaris Cadet did not make the final roster for the Saints.

It was going to be difficult for Cadet to make the roster after New Orleans signed Adrian Peterson and drafted Alvin Kamara in the third round of the draft. Cadet should get interest from other teams in the coming days, and he'll definitely remain on New Orleans' radar if not.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Cadet rushed six times for 13 yards and caught an 11-yard pass in Thursday night's preseason game.

Competing for a roster spot behind Mark Ingram, Adrian Peterson, and Alvin Kamara, the receiving back probably needs to make more out of his touches next week versus the Chargers.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Mike Triplett of ESPN doesn't think Travaris Cadet will make the Saints roster.

Triplett obviously projects Adrian Peterson, Mark Ingram, and third-round pick Alvin Kamara as making the roster, but he believes Daniel Lasco will make the team as a fourth running back over Cadet. This will be determined on the field, but it's worth noting because Cadet had a sizable role last season. Triplett writes the rookie Kamara will be the "joker" back, and Ted Ginn Jr. is expected to be the primary returner, so that could leave Cadet off the team. If Cadet does eventually become available by not making the Saints roster, a lot of teams would likely be interested in bringing him in.

Cadet caught five passes for 30 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over Arizona.

He also rushed once for 16 yards. The shootout worked in Cadet's favor, but he can stay on the waiver wire for the final two weeks of the season. He's not likely to make an impact if the Saints are not trailing.

Travaris Cadet | Panthers RB

Cadet caught five passes fro 53 yards in the Saints' loss.

He saw a lot of playing time with the Saints down and turned in his best performance of the year. Cadet can stay on the waiver wire.
