NFL news

Raiders legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Otto has passed away at 86 years old. Otto played 15 seasons for the Raiders and was named to the NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team.

Former All-Pro running back David Johnson has officially retired. In Johnson’s outstanding 2016 All-Pro campaign, he ran 293 times for 1,239 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns along with 80 receptions for 879 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns. A season-ending wrist injury suffered in Week 1 the following year unfortunately derailed things a bit, but he was one of the NFL’s best players in Bruce Arians’ offense to begin his career.
