Join now >The Cardinals are signing Trace McSorley.
After two-plus years in Baltimore, McSorley is being added to Arizona’s active roster off the Ravens practice squad. The Cardinals are expected to get Kyler Murray healthy for Week 13 after this week’s bye, and Colt McCoy has played well in a few starts, but Arizona must be high on McSorley to add him to the active roster. We are high on McSorley’s ability, too, and he did a nice job when called upon for the Ravens; the Cardinals offense might be a better fit for him long-term given that the Ravens had Tyler Huntley backing up Lamar Jackson as someone with a similar skillset to the starter.

The Saints have signed Taysom Hill to a four-year extension, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The deal can be worth anywhere from $40 million to $95 million, and it includes $22.5 million guaranteed, so it’s an unprecedented structure based on the position Hill plays for New Orleans—being their starting quarterback for the next four years would give him an extra $55 million on top of the $40 million base. Curiously, Hill didn’t even play an offensive snap in yesterday’s loss to the Eagles, but he is clearly a huge part of their plans on offense, and we would expect he might be starting by Week 13 if the Saints lose to the Bills on Thanksgiving. The versatile weapon should be stashed in redraft leagues because of his QB1 upside down the stretch if he eventually makes starts.

Michael Carter is dealing with a low-grade high-ankle sprain, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The injury is expected to sideline New York’s rookie runner for two-to-three weeks, so injured reserve could be a possibility for him. Tevin Coleman might get a shot to lead the backfield with Ty Johnson also seeing an increased role, and while both guys could be difficult to trust, they’ll notably get a good spot in Week 12 versus the Texans.

The Jaguars placed Jamal Agnew (hip) on injured reserve.
It looked like a pretty bad injury yesterday, and it is said to be a season-ender for the explosive receiver/returner. It’s an unfortunate loss, as Agnew worked his way into a steady role on offense in addition to his superb return ability to boost the special-teams unit. Agnew had 24 receptions for 229 yards and a touchdown along with seven carries for 111 yards and a touchdown in time games for the Jaguars.

The Broncos are signing Courtland Sutton to a contract extension.
NFL Network reports it’s a four-year, $60 million extension for Sutton. This is pretty surprising considering the Broncos just extended Tim Patrick last week, but the team apparently doesn’t mind spending big at the receiver position and will keep both Patrick and Sutton long-term along with Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler. Sutton is coming off a torn ACL form last year, and—while he’s been cold as of late from a statistical perspective—is having a strong 2021 campaign.

CeeDee Lamb (head) is out for the rest of today.
Lamb hit his head on the ground hard on a jump ball to the end zone (which was intercepted) toward the end of the first half against the Chiefs, and he’s out for the rest of this Week 11 matchup. Before leaving, Lamb had three receptions for 14 yards. He’ll now have to clear concussion protocol in a few days to play in the Thanksgiving Day matchup with Washington.

Jordan Howard (knee) is out for the rest of today.
This was called a back injury at first for Howard, but now it’s a knee and his day is done. This is not a great sign after Howard was beat up pretty good on a tough run where he was flipped over, but hopefully it’s not anything too serious. Before leaving, Howard had ten carries for 63 yards in the Week 11 matchup against the Saints.
