Join now >Ben Roethlisberger will be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Roethlisberger is taking a separate plane to Los Angeles for Sunday night’s game, but the expectation is that he will start. This news is a boost for the Pittsburgh pass-catchers, though they all get a slight downgrade for a difficult matchup versus the Chargers, and Big Ben will be a low-end QB2 option.

Chris Carson (neck) is out for the season.
It unfortunately felt like this was a possibility with Carson missing time with the neck issue and apparently nearing a return before a setback. This is sad to hear, as Carson’s year ends after just four games and he’ll now have neck surgery according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. In four games this season, Carson had 54 carries for 232 yards and three touchdowns along with six receptions for 29 yards. Hopefully Carson can get back to 100% health and be back on the field full-go in 2022 after dealing with this neck issue.

Amari Cooper (COVID-19) will also miss Week 12.
Because Cooper is unvaccinated, he has a mandatory ten-day quarantine, which also knocks him out for the Thanksgiving Day matchup against Washington. So Cooper will miss two games because of COVID, but he should be back for Week 13.

Dallas Goedert will play in Week 11.
Fresh off a huge contract extension, Goedert is also ready to go for this Sunday against the Saints. You can insert Goedert into fantasy lineups as a TE1 option.

The Broncos are signing Tim Patrick to a three-year extension.
The deal is reportedly worth up to $34.5 million, which is a very nice chunk of change for the former undrafted free agent. Denver has a strong room at wide receiver with Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, and K.J. Hamler (coming off a torn ACL), so they are clearly very high on Patrick and believe he’s still an ascending player with this extension. At 5-5, Denver will be hoping Patrick helps them make a playoff push following the bye.

Taysom Hill (foot) is questionable for Week 11.
Hill would be set to have an increased role if active with Alvin Kamara (knee) out, but he won’t be a recommended fantasy play unless he eventually takes over for Trevor Siemian at quarterback. The Saints are banged up right now heading into a stretch of three games in 12 days.
11/19/21 - 04:21 PM ET
Alvin Kamara (knee) ruled out for Week 11.
Kamara will miss his second game in a row, setting up Mark Ingram for another start to be a plug-and-play RB2. New Orleans’ offensive centerpiece will have a few more days to hopefully be healthy by Thanksgiving night versus Buffalo, but we can expect him to be questionable for that one. Anyone looking ahead to the fantasy playoffs might be wise to check in on the cost to acquire Kamara.
