Join now >Russell Wilson, Seahawks fall to the Cowboys in the Wild Card Round, 24-22.
Wilson was 18/27 for 233 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions, also adding three carries for 14 yards and a score on the ground. Seattle struggled to run the ball against a stingy Dallas front—Chris Carson had just 13 carries for 20 yards—and the Cowboys made more plays late despite Wilson playing well, including the go-ahead rushing touchdown at one point in the second half. The Seahawks will now look towards 2019, though, and Wilson will hopefully get another weapon in the passing game to make up for less running in what will be his age-30/31 season. He should be a solid pick in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts next summer.

Leonard Fournette met with Jaguars executive vice president Tom Coughlin.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says Fournette met with Coughlin “and the rest of the team’s brass to clear the air and move forward together for 2019,” adding that it “sounds like it went well for both sides and things are headed in the right direction.” At the end of the regular season, it looked like Fournette was probably headed on his way out of Jacksonville, but this indicates there’s a good chance he’ll be back next season. This isn’t a huge surprise considering the Jaguars just spent the fourth overall pick on Fournette not even two years ago, so the team will be hoping the running back can commit himself this offseason and perform like the offensive centerpiece they were expecting when they drafted him out of LSU. Fournette’s fantasy value is probably best with the Jags, as they’re a team that could give him 25+ touches per game, which probably wouldn’t happen for any new team he joins.

Ryan Hewitt scores in Colts’ Week 17 win.
Hewitt caught a one-yard touchdown on a quick pass in the flat. It was Hewitt’s first reception of the year, and it was cool to see his teammates super pumped up for him. Indy’s versatile H-back is a better real-life contributor than fantasy asset, obviously, and he’ll look to chip in during the postseason.

Todd Gurley (knee) was officially limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Gurley is expected to play this week, but it shouldn’t be considered a lock, especially with C.J. Anderson filling in admirably to end the regular season. We’ll have practice updates on Gurley over the next two days.

Dak Prescott plays well in Cowboys’ playoff win.
Prescott was 22/33 for 226 yards, one touchdown, and one interception along with six carries for 29 yards and a touchdown in the Wild Card Round victory over the Seahawks. While he had an interception on an underthrown pass to the end zone as a blemish later in the game, Prescott again made plays down the stretch to help lead his team to 14 fourth-quarter points and a win. The passing score was on a dime to Michael Gallup toward the end of the first half, and the rushing score was on a quarterback sneak the play after he had a clutch 16-yard run on a third-and-long to basically ice the game. Prescott will now lead Dallas on the road to face either New Orleans or Los Angeles next weekend in the Divisional Round.
1/5/19 - 11:32 PM ET
Melvin Gordon (knee) officially did not practice today.
Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn says Gordon was getting a day of rest for his knees, which isn’t a surprise with the star running back getting banged up with injuries to both knees in recent weeks. There isn’t any doubt Gordon will play in the Divisional Round versus the Patriots, but we’ll track his practice status the next couple of days and ensure he doesn’t have an injury designation when the final injury report is released on Friday.

Jehu Chesson catches one pass in Week 17.
Chesson caught a successful fake punt for seven yards against the Eagles. This was Chesson’s only reception of the season, so the 2017 fourth-round pick is not a recommended dynasty-league option heading into 2019, but don’t be surprised if he emerges as a contributor on offense at some point.
