Rashaad Penny gets four carries in Week 17.

Penny gained six yards on his six attempts versus Arizona in his return after missing the last two games with a knee issue. The first-round rookie running back’s first NFL regular season ends with 85 carries for 419 yards and two touchdowns along with nine receptions for 75 yards. Penny will be an important backup behind Chris Carson in a likely run-heavy approach by the Seahawks in January.

Kendrick Bourne scores against the Rams.

Bourne caught five passes for 59 yards and a touchdown in the Niners’ Week 17 win. Bourne’s season ends with 42 receptions for 487 yards and four touchdowns. He’ll likely compete for a starting role in San Francisco’s receiving corps next season.

Patrick Mahomes reaches 50 touchdowns in win over the Raiders.

Mahomes was 14/24 for 281 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, also adding two carries for one yard. In the highest-scoring fantasy season of all-time for a quarterback, Mahomes completed 66.0% of his passes for 5,097 yards and a 50:12 touchdown-interception ratio with 60 carries for 272 yards and two more scores on the ground. The Chiefs were able to lock up home-field advantage in the AFC on Sunday, and they will face either the Ravens, Chargers, or Colts in a couple weeks.

Joe Mixon goes over 100 yards in Week 17 loss.

Mixon, who curiously didn’t start the game, rushed 13 times for 105 yards. He also caught a two-yard pass on his only target. The second-year back was basically the entire Cincinnati offense over the past month, and he ends his breakout campaign with 237 attempts for 1,168 yards (4.9 YPC) and eight touchdowns, also adding a 43/296/1 receiving line. The Bengals will certainly add talent in the offseason, and it will be interesting to see the offensive system of a new coaching staff. Right now, Mixon should be treated as a high-floor RB1 that’s worthy of top-15 consideration in all formats next summer.

Ed Dickson gets one touch against the Cardinals.

Dickson carried one time for nine yards in Week 17, bringing his season total to 12 receptions for 143 yards and three touchdowns in ten games. The veteran tight end will look to come up big in the postseason starting this Saturday night against Dallas.

George Kittle explodes in Week 17.

Kittle caught nine passes for 149 yards and a touchdown against the Rams, breaking Rob Gronkowski’s single-season record for receiving yards by a tight end (1,327 yards). The record was actually broken by Travis Kelce (1,336 yards) a bit earlier in the day, but then Kittle broke it with his big performance. Kittle’s score, which broke the record, came on a 43-yarder after he caught an out route and showed his great speed while zooming through the defense on his way to the end zone. The Niners clearly really wanted to get Kittle the record, but it’s not like he didn’t deserve it after a monstrous breakout season. The second-year tight end finished as the No. 2 fantasy tight end in standard scoring leagues, racking up 1,377 yards and five touchdowns on 88 receptions. At least yardage wise, Kittle might take a step back next season, but he will be an elite TE1 in 2019 fantasy drafts.

Mike Davis scores against the Cardinals.

Davis carried seven times for 44 yards and a touchdown along with two receptions for 12 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 17 victory. Davis’ regular season ends with 112 carries for 514 yards and four touchdowns along with 34 receptions for 214 yards and one touchdown as a very good change-of-pace option behind starter Chris Carson. During the postseason, Davis is likely to get at least a few touches per game for Seattle.
