Join now >Case Keenum throws one touchdown in Week 17.
Keenum was 31/48 for 292 yards, one touchdown, and one interception along with three carries for eight yards and one fumble lost versus the Chargers. The score was to fullback Andy Janovich for 20 yards. Keenum’s first season in Denver ends with 3,890 yards, 18 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions, along with 26 carries for 93 yards and two touchdowns. John Elway signed Keenum with the expectation that the Broncos would compete for the postseason this year, so the team’s quarterback situation for 2019 is up in the air. Keenum does remain under contract, though, and he’s probably the favorite to start Week 1 next season.

David Johnson gets 20 touches in Week 17.
Johnson carried 17 times for 62 yards and caught three passes for six yards against the Seahawks. Johnson’s regular season ends with 258 carries for 940 yards and seven touchdowns along with 50 receptions for 446 yards and three touchdowns. The double-digit touchdowns despite playing in the league’s worst offense helped DJ have a decent season for fantasy owners that selected him with a top-five pick in drafts over the summer, but obviously this wasn’t close to his exceptional 2016 season in which he was the best player in fantasy. It was a tough situation, though, on a bad team with a change in offensive coordinator and a rookie quarterback that did not play well. The good news is Johnson was able to play all 16 games after he basically had his entire 2017 season wiped out because of a wrist injury. Johnson is so talented that he’s a big-time bounce-back candidate for 2019, but we’d feel better about his situation if there are upgrades around him on offense—and Rosen must play better than he did as a rookie. Johnson will likely last until the third round in many fantasy drafts this summer.

DaeSean Hamilton catches five passes in Week 17.
Hamilton gained 49 yards on his five receptions against the Chargers. The rookie receiver’s first NFL season ends with 30 receptions for 243 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games, but he had at least five receptions and 40 yards in each of his last four games after Emmanuel Sanders’ season-ending Achilles injury. Heading into 2019, we really like the Penn State product’s ability, and he’ll be a breakout candidate in his second season.

Jalen Richard handles five touches in Week 17 loss.
Richard rushed three times for one yard and caught two passes for 17 yards. Oakland’s receiving back ends the season with a career-best 68 receptions and 607 yards through the air, also adding 55 carries for 259 yards (4.7 YPC) and one touchdown. Richard is an unrestricted free agent.

Willie Snead catches one pass in Week 17 win.
It went for 25 yards. Snead’s regular season ends with a solid 62/651/1 line, but the production become more inconsistent when Lamar Jackson entered the lineup. The 26-year-old will look to work the middle of the field next week against the Chargers, who held him to zero receptions a couple weeks ago.
12/31/18 - 12:54 PM ET
John Brown held to one reception in Week 17 win.
It went for seven yards. Brown has been held to less than 28 yards in every game since Lamar Jackson took over as the starter, so he did well to finish the year with a 42/715/5 line while averaging 17.0 yards per reception. “Smokey” was well on his way to a monster season until Joe Flacco’s hip injury, but we’ll see if he can get behind the defense for Jackson at some point in the playoffs.
12/31/18 - 01:01 PM ET
Hayden Hurst caught two passes for 43 yards in Sunday’s win over the Browns
It was the most yards all year for the rookie, who finishes with 13 receptions for 163 yards and one touchdown in his first regular season. Hurst will work in tandem with Mark Andrews on a rookie-led offense next week against the Chargers.
