Keith Kirkwood catches two passes in Week 16.

Kirkwood cringed 35 yards on his two Week 16 receptions against the Steelers. Kirkwood is a solid contributor to the Saints, but he’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups with titles on the line.

Ted Ginn Jr. plays well in his return to the lineup.

Ginn was activated just a couple of days ago and was immediately back into the lineup and in a sizable role for New Orleans. He caught five passes for 74 yards against the Steelers, and he immediately looks to be the No. 2 receiver behind No. 1 receiver Michael Thomas. Ginn might not play in Week 17, though, as New Orleans has the No. 1 seed locked up.

Michael Thomas scores game-wining touchdown in Week 16.

Thomas caught 11 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown in the Saints’ victory over the Steelers. The touchdown was a short comeback route where he gained control of the ball just before come out of the end zone. This was a strong showing for Thomas and fantasy owners after the third-year receiver went four games without 100 yards or a score. He might not play in Week 17 with the No. 1 seed locked up for the Saints.

Mike Glennon sees action in blowout loss.

Glennon was five-of-seven for 63 yards as he replaced Josh Rosen in a 31-9 defeat. The veteran could possibly draw a start next week if the Cardinals want to keep Rosen healthy after he got a little banged up on Sunday, but he wouldn’t be a recommended fantasy option in Seattle.

Alvin Kamara scores twice against the Steelers.

Kamara carried seven times for 23 yards and two touchdowns along with four receptions for 82 yards in the Saints’ Week 16 victory. On one of Kamara’s scores, he showed his usual exceptional core strength and balance by brushing off a couple of would-be tackles on his way to the end zone. Kamara might not play in Week 17 with New Orleans locked in a No. 1 seed, so be prepared to go without him in fantasy championship matchups that have not concluded.

Mark Ingram scores against the Steelers.

Ingram had 11 carries for 35 yards and a touchdown along with one reception for eight yards in the Saints’ Week 16 win. The Steelers did a nice job of limiting the Saints running game, except for stoping them from getting into the end zone, which Ingram was able to do (with Alvin Kamara getting in twice). Ingram might not play in Week 17 with New Orleans locked into a No. 1 seed but we’ll see.

Josh Rosen, Cardinals drop to 3-12 in blowout loss to the Rams.

Rosen was 12/23 for 87 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions, also adding four carries for a team-high 49 yards. Mike Glennon finished the game as the rookie hurt his throwing arm, but Rosen returned for a bit before giving way to the veteran, which pretty much confirms that it was nothing serious. However, the UCLA product continues to struggle as a passer with a season-low 87 yards, and things won’t be much easier next week in Seattle to close out his rookie campaign. Rosen will hopefully show something to create some optimism for 2019 and beyond.
