The Jets are trading Daniel Brown to the Chiefs, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Kansas City is giving a notable player in return with guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif heading to New York, so this is a notable move, and Brown will have a role behind Travis Kelce. That said, he has zero receptions on the season, so Brown won’t be a recommended fantasy option with his new squad.

Henry Ruggs III charged with DUI resulting death.
This is incredibly sad news all around, as Ruggs driving under the influence cost someone their life, which is obviously a lot more impactful than any legal and/or league ramifications. The second-year wideout was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, but the charge obviously puts his immediate and future playing status in serious question. The Raiders take on the Giants in Week 9.

The Titans officially signed D’Onta Foreman to the practice squad.
The Titans are trying to somehow help make up for the loss of Derrick Henry (foot), and Foreman will look to work his way to the active roster as a powerful ball-carrier. He’s someone to watch in deeper leagues for now.

Kadarius Toney (thumb) has returned for the Giants.
Toney was in the locker room but he ran back out out the tunnel and is back in there in the fourth quarter of the Monday night matchup at Kansas City. Toney didn’t miss any offensive series while he was getting checked out with the Giants on defense.

Kadarius Toney (thumb) is officially questionable to return for the Giants.
Toney was in obvious discomfort with his hand while on the Giants sideline, and it’s officially being called a thumb injury. We’ll see if the rookie receiver is able to return here in the fourth quarter.
