Ryan Griffin caught five passes for 80 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Colts.

Griffin led the team in receiving as he caught all five of his targets, but the performance shouldn’t suddenly boost him into streaming consideration for Week 15. Perhaps the 28-year-old will build on something next Saturday against the Jets, but fantasy owners should look elsewhere in all formats.

The Saints waived Brandon Marshall, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

Marshall did not appear in a game for the Saints after signing with them last month, and he won’t be appearing in his first career playoff game like many thought when he signed with the team. There’s a chance the veteran receiver never plays another down in the NFL, but he has said he wants to continue playing. He might have to wait until at least the offseason for teams to start gaining more interest, though.

James Develin scores again in Week 14.

Develin took his lone carry against the Dolphins for a two-yard touchdown, his third in the last two games. You’re playing with fire by picking up Develin and inserting him into fantasy lineups, but it’s good to see him converting his attempts at the goal line.

Rashaad Penny rushed eight times for 44 yards in Monday night’s win over Minnesota.

Penny operated as the clear No. 2 to Chris Carson (22 carries for 90 yards and a touchdown), and there’s no reason to expect things to change in Week 15. That said, Seattle will hopefully play from ahead against the Niners, so Penny will be on the FLEX radar.

Demaryius Thomas caught four passes for 48 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Colts.

Thomas had a two-touchdown game to close out December, but he’s combined for just 80 scoreless yards over the past two weeks, and the WR2 expectations that some had for him in Houston look unlikely to come to fruition this season. Perhaps DT can get going on Saturday against the Jets, who he went for a 5/105/1 line against with the Broncos earlier this year.

Kerryon Johnson (knee) remains out of practice.

It’s only Wednesday, but this isn’t a great start to the week for the rookie running back. Hopefully he can get on the practice field tomorrow or Friday, but his Week 15 status is looking doubtful to start the week.

James White gets six touches in Patriots’ loss.

White carried four times for 13 yards and caught two passes (on four targets) for 15 yards against the Dolphins. White hasn’t found the end zone since Week 9, and he’s more of just a FLEX option in standard leagues at the moment. He could get a good amount of targets against a good Steelers pass rush in Week 15, but he’s offered a low floor in fantasy lineups in recent weeks.
