Trenton Cannon scores against the Bills.

Cannon had five carries for three yards and a touchdown along with one reception for four yards in the Jets’ Week 14 win. It was the first career touchdown for the rookie running back, and hopefully it will be the first of many. Even if Isaiah Crowell (foot) is out in Week 15, Cannon will be difficult to trust in fantasy lineups against the Texans with Elijah McGuire ahead of him on the depth chart.

Ryan Tannehill leaves game with apparent ankle injury.

Tannehill is headed to the locker room, so Brock Osweiler is now in the game against the Patriots. We’ll update you as more information becomes available on Tannehill’s status.

Elijah McGuire scores game-winning touchdown in Week 14.

Isaiah Crowell left the game early with a foot injury, so the second-year running back assumed the role as the team’s clear lead back against the Bills. He carried 17 times for 60 yards and a touchdown along with three receptions for 23 yards in the Jets’ win. The score was at the goal line where McGuire powered in with under 1:30 remaining in the game. McGuire should be one of the top waiver-wire adds this week, as he’s a talented runner that could get a heavy workload the final three games of the season. However, this Saturday against the Texans is a tough matchup.

Tyreek Hill leaves game with apparent foot/ankle injury.

Hill had his cleat and sock off and didn’t appear able to put much pressure on his foot, and now he’s headed to the locker room. With under a minute remaining in the first half, Hill is unlikely to return this half, and now we just have to hope this injury doesn’t keep him out in the second half or longer. We’ll update you as more information becomes available.

Josh McCown goes 0/1 in Week 14.

McCown briefly entered the game for Sam Darnold (foot), but Darnold was thankfully able to return. Now back to the backup role with Darnold back after missing three games, the veteran McCown will continue being an excellent presence for the rookie quarterback.

Spencer Ware leaves game with apparent shoulder injury.

Ware just took a hit and landed on his right shoulder after a long reception late in the first half. He was down for a bit before getting up and walking to the sideline while favoring that right shoulder. Hopefully the injury isn’t too serious, but we’ll update you as more information becomes available. With under two minutes remaining in the first half, his status might not be known until after halftime.

Sam Darnold plays well in return to the lineup.

Darnold was 16/24 for 170 yards, one touchdown, and one interception along with four carries for ten yards in the Jets’ Week 14 win against the Bills. The touchdown was a great seven-yard scramble in which Darnold crossed field and found Robby Anderson for a seven-yard score. Darnold helped lead the Jets to 14 fourth-quarter points in the 27-23 win, and it’ll hopefully be a momentum-builder for the final three games of the season. The rookie quarterback left briefly with a foot injury, which was a concern considering he missed the last three games with a foot injury, but he returned and seemed fine. Darnold next faces the Texans on Saturday afternoon.
