Join now >The Broncos designated Albert Okwuegbunam (hamstring) for return.
Okwuegbunam now has his 21-day window activated. He has the three weeks to be added to the active roster, which should happen at some point. The big tight end will be a boost to the depth in the Denver offense when he returns.

The Raiders have released Willie Snead.
Snead is being released because of frustrations about a lack of playing time, so he might have a good idea about his next landing spot. The Raiders have fortunately been healthy at wide receiver, particularly with second-year targets Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards.

Allen Lazard has been placed on the COVID-19 list.
Another player being placed on the list was unfortunately feared when Davante Adams was placed on it yesterday, and that’s what happened with Lazard. Now Green Bay is likely to be without their top two wideouts for a huge NFC clash versus Arizona, and they’ll be down to Randall Cobb, Equanimeous St. Brown, and Amari Rodgers as the top three receivers if Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) isn’t back from injured reserve.

The Dolphins are signing Duke Johnson to the practice squad.
Malcolm Brown (quad) was placed on injured reserve for Miami and will miss at least three games, so Johnson will help fill a veteran presence in the running back room—albeit in a different style as more of a receiving back than north-south grinder. Johnson played his college football at the University of Miami, so this is a homecoming for him.

Taysom Hill has been ruled out for Monday night.
Hill remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol following the bye week. Hopefully the dynamic quarterback is feeling better and back to his normal self soon.

The Eagles are trading Joe Flacco to the Jets.
With Zach Wilson out at least a couple of weeks, Flacco is returning to the Jets and should have a a good chance to start and play while Wilson is out. The former Super Bowl MVP still has starting quarterback ability, and his presence should be a boost for a Jets team looking to compete and win some games.

The Saints activated Tre’Quan Smith (hamstring).
Smith is officially coming off injured reserve and will make his 2021 debut tonight against the Seahawks. The big receiver is someone to keep an eye on as a potential down-the-field and red-zone target for Jameis Winston.
