Join now >Russell Gage is signing with the Buccaneers, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Gage is heading from Atlanta to the rival Bucs, and he will step in as the No. 3 wideout behind Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. Anyone playing in an offense with Tom Brady at quarterback is worth investing in, but Gage can get an added boost early in the season depending on the status of Godwin in his return from a torn ACL. The former sixth-round pick has caught 66+ passes in each of the past two years with the Falcons, and we expect he’ll be undervalued as a quality FLEX in redraft leagues this season.

The Patriots re-signed James White.
This is one of the least surprising signings of free agency, as White was not expected to leave New England for another team. The reliable pass-catcher is coming off a serious hip injury suffered last September, but he should be a reliable third-down and underneath target for Mac Jones in 2022.

The Bills are signing J.D. McKissic.
This is a surprise signing, but McKissic is an excellent receiving weapon out of the backfield for Josh Allen and Buffalo to utilize. It’s a two-year deal for the former Washington running back, who joins Devin Singletary and Zack Moss in the Bills backfield. McKissic had 80 receptions a couple of seasons ago.

Chase Daniel is re-signing with the Chargers.
Daniel is returning on a one-year deal to backup Justin Herbert, and he’ll be a veteran for the young quarterback to continue leaning on. The 35-year-old last made a start with the Bears in 2019.

The Falcons have tendered Olamide Zaccheaus.
Atlanta can now match any official contract offer made to Zaccheaus when free agency officially begins tomorrow at the start of the new league year at 4:00 PM ET. The Falcons are likely to have a bit of a revamped receiving corps this season, and Zaccheaus would ideally be a part of that as someone with experience with Matt Ryan.

The Packers are tendering Allen Lazard at the second-round level.
This makes it highly unlikely that another team will come in with an offer to get Lazard out of Green Bay. Lazard is a relatively trusted target of Aaron Rodgers, and expect him to be back in the mix in Matt LaFleur’s offense with the Packers in 2022. Perhaps a long-term agreement between the two sides will be reached, but Lazard can hit free agency next offseason if not.

The Dolphins are re-signing Preston Williams.
Williams has unfortunately had trouble staying on the field through his first three NFL seasons, playing in just eight games each year. However, the former undrafted receiver will turn just 25 years old later this month. Williams will look to grow into a role in Mike McDaniel’s offense this season.
